Battleifeld Bad Company EA servers REALLY suck?

Since the day it came out I noticed the game lag is gone, now it is server lag. I mean bad lag. Sometimes I can't even connect and or can't connect to EA online. My friends have the same problem. Anyone here have this problem too? I'm starting to regret buying it because I reserved gold only to get to the store and find out they never received golds..... The game was originally scheduled for release today not yesterday I don't know what happened. This game has not had a good start.

I had an issue with online play, but its fine now. Sadly this game let me down :( It's a great game nonetheless... but I was hoping for a more Modern Combat feel. With in-game Clan Support and leader boards for individual classes. Maybe they'll incorporate them later... but that was one thing that really separated MC from the rest of the games.

So who's up for some defending? Haha.

I noticed. I ALWAYS manage to get put on the team that sucks so much you wanna scream. I need to start setting the challenge to hard. And for some reason since the demo I have yet to play as Demolition which was my favorite class, now it is the Specialist. Gotta love that UMP.

single player is great though (never lold so hard at a game)

Well now it seems I can't upload screenshots either. I tried taking one then I get MAJOR LAG and it says upload failed after like 3 minutes. And the screenshot was possibly one of the funniest moments I've ever seen in that game. Me and my buddy were in a boat as snipers we got out cause he sucks at driving the boat and he landed us. Then a Humvee ramps the bridge hits the boat and knocks it sideways and it hits him and kills him. He was like WTF no car hit me??!?!?! I was laughing so hard.

It's not bad. So many people complain about it but it's really not that bad. If you're good, you can play under anything.

BTW the game is AMAZING. I love it. I can't get off of it haha... I didn't make hours last week :( Oops. I'm playing a lot though! But um... not exactly playing CoD4. I'll try to get hours this week. Back to the game.

It's really fun, and I like how you work in squads. It sucks when you have a bad squad, but when it's you and your buds and you know what your doing its tons of fun. I still hate how there is no clan support like MC had, but it's still good. I recommend people buy this. I've made some friends with non-h2o/pms because no h2o's play this game with me lol. But it's cool, the people I've gamed with are pretty sweet and we just play and laugh the whole time while we own.

To be honest, my understanding from what I have seen in some places is that the problem isn't really with the servers, but more with the game and some netcode issues. I could be wrong, but that is the impression I have gotten from reading articles on the issue. In either case I do know it is being looked at.

We are very aware of the different issues you have told us you find most important.

We are happy to see that so many of you are playing Battlefield: Bad Company and having so much fun. The level of community interest in this game and its features is really visible, also through the amount of feedback various members of the development team have been receiving through their Live accounts, Facebook, emails, phone calls, faxes (People still use those??) on our forums and all the other channels out there.

Our Bad Company developers have been working a lot in the last two years and, we have managed to produce a game that we are very proud of. Even with the game already in stores, we would like to let you know that we are reading and listening to all of your feedback.

Right now the team is working on creating the Conquest game mode for Battlefield: Bad Company together with the conversion of the maps to go with it. The Conquest Pack is currently going through testing and certification.

We are very aware of the different issues you have told us you find most important. Therefore as soon as we’re done with the above there are several other points of your feedback which we’ll continue to investigate, without currently being able to say with certainty whether or not we will be able to include them. These include, but are not limited to:

* Clan support/private rooms/team chat
* Auto balancing on servers
* Continued support against stats exploits
* VOIP issue on PS3 (working with Sony on this)
* Squads might be split up when joining a server as a squad. This is due to team balancing in the games that are being joined, and usually resolves itself in round 2.

Played two games yesterday and they seemed to run fine.
The only issue i have is everyone i played with was really selfish and only wanted kills.. they wouldn't even bother trying to disarm the bomb.

That's exactly what I come across. I have seen people run away from the bomb just to get a kill... I mean come on people disarming is worth more points

There have been some pretty bad problems with the servers for that game, its really annoying that EA insist on using their own servers as normally most of their games suffer from server issues.

When you get on a good server though there isnt normally any trouble hardly.

As for the poor team mates thats why your best playing with someone that you know, so your group of 4 works as a team.

Hey, it comes from personal experience with EA Online games. NFS Carbon being the WORST online........but I do want to see what NFS Undercover's going to look like.....

So, any improvements in the servers, yet??

NFS Undercover? And yes Carbon sucked online. Nothing really improved yet but it should be soon.

NFS Undercover is the new NFS that's coming out this year. I remember Carbon......the first week, I got to lvl 50 in six hours, then stopped playing it.......

Well I have NEVER played as sniper never will and I don't have any unlocks for it. And I want conquest too, Gold is nice and all but it goes to quick with a sucky team. And theres no way to win it back once its destroyed.
