My husband and I were downloading videos of previews of what the PS3 games are going to be like and I'm just so excited lol *grabs Tears. and jumps around in a circle shrieking*

I saw something that COULD be Socom 4, but I'm not sure. It could be just a different FPS for it. If it WAS Socom 4...omg.

the only thing i buy from sony anymore tends to be a tv.... (ooooh i love my tv) but i have been iffy on them for everything else a long while.... (putting sega out of business was mean) and now with the whole... blue ray vs hd war... it reminds me too much of betamax and vhs..... not getting a ps3.... i love my 360 and it will remain my newest love toy... (until it breaks and i have to by a new one b/c the warrenty is gone) but yeah... ps3=icky!

It's cool that you guys are skeptical of Sony and who isn't? Anyone who has played any of their PC MMORPGs would like to burn their headquarters down and beat the crap out of all of them. However, I love my PS2 and I love all my PS2 games and I liked it way better than X-box.

For me Playstation beats all the other consoles, and from what I've seen of the games to come for PS3, and what I've seen of the 360 I'm not expecting that opinion to change. My husband and I spend most of our entertainment-time gaming, and as we don't hang-out in bars, we don't smoke (ciggarettes), and we're big on not buying things we don't need it isn't that big of an expense for us. We consider it an entertainment-investment...and we're probably going to buy 2 of them around Christmas time. Because honestly...like I'm going to share my PS3 with him lol

From my perspective I've had 3 ps2s break down on me due to the infamous "disc read error"

I spent so much money on ps2s and games and then I had to ship it back to them at the cost of 120 bucks

Then I bought one xbox and its been working fine the last 4 years

So because of the equipment sony has produced I am no longer interested in buying what they sell

Luckily my husband doesn't really want to share the PS2 with me anymore. He doesn't have much interest in Socom 3...the quick-snipers killed it for him.

He finished all the other games he wanted to play on it. He's not thorough like myself, and he doesn't go through every aspect of a game before he puts it down.

PS3 is a system I can only dream of...there is no way I will be able to afford it. I still can't buy my own ps2 (well, technically I could, but it would take all of my paycheck)
