I've had my Mac Mini for a while with the newest OSX. I've been very happy with it so far, there's hardly ever any issues and everything works very well.

However, I'm having issues with programs for Windows or finding a good subsitute for those programs for OSX.

I'm trying to find someone who uses or knows a lot about using a Mac and that might be able to help me?

Atm. I'm using Adium for MSN and Xblaze for Xfire and probably other programs too. I'm looking for a substitute for ie. MIRC.
Also, I'm wondering what games are possible to play on OSX (right now I've only got uhm...*cough* WOW *cought*).

Anyone on here with any knowledge or advice that might be able to help?

Oh yeah, I forgot to add: I really don't want to add Windows to it, sicen I like using the OSX operating system, and since I'm using a Mac Mini I don't cant to "clog it up", so to speak. :p
Only reason to get Windows would probably be to play games, I guess.

Get VMware. What VMware does is it creates lets say, give Windows 40GB. So it creates a 0kb file, and only grows the more you add to the Windows portion. You can boot it up while in Mac OS X also and run both at the same time, or unify the windows you have open in XP/Vista/Whatev. into the OS X desktop.

VMware won't be a suitable choice if you're intending to install high paced software / legacy application...

You can change the settings so you can run that type of software.

Indeed, Colloquy for IRC.
As for gaming... it seems a lot more games are coming out for the Mac these days. Used to be a huge joke trying to find something to play, but most recent hits are available for OSX. That said, your best bet is to check out the apple online store (or a physical one, if you're close enough) to see what they have.

Well, I've experienced several difficulties while sitting before the instant interface e.g. to install and work in 64Bit Operating Systems i.e. Sun SOLARIS, SUSE, Ubuntu, Fedora, Debian, OSX, Windows XP x64 Edition and finally Windows Vista Ultimate x64 Edition. Apart from it, the applications like Autodesk's 3D Studio Max 9 64Bit Edition or games like COD4 Modern Warfare, Crysis, Ghost Recon etc. won't run smoothly on any 'cause of weak graphic throughput and geometric shaders as visualized / required from a standalone graphic adapter.
