OK so I know some of you out there have a Wii or know people that do. The Wii division needs some love. We need some more people in Super Smash and Mario Kart. You only have to play four hours a week to be considered active, so it's not that bad. So come on all you wii owners come play with us. We have our own Ventrilo channel and you will usually catch us on very late at night but if you want to play earlier just let me know. Tell your friends to join us too. :D

Well I think I might buy Super Smash is it really good? I know Mario kart is good but I haven't looked into that yet. The problem with the Wii is that I don't really like most of the games for it.

aww..I really enjoy wii!! *feel kinda tickly inside sayin that!* lol Anyhoo..most the games are fun..especially with friends. I would not say the wii is fun for shooter and competitive games and I wish the online gaming was more like xbl, but it is definately fun when you got more friends on to play with..or jus playin with people across the country. It is nintendo and I grew up loving all games by nintendo-I heart nintendo always!! lol...o mariokart is by far a blast..and I got a funny story to my nickname "choad" if anyone is interested in hearing, pm me. And dont go saying my nickname out loud to anyone!! hahahaah.... :mvshakefist:

Wii is a lot of fun. Super Smash Bros Brawl and Mario Kart are a blast especially with friends. We usually play while using ventrilo which is even funner hearing everyones reactions while you play. If anyone wants to play stop by the vent channel or message me here on the forums. Also, you can hit me up on AIM my screen name is PMS Stardust. Most people only get a gaming system and just end up playing one or two games over and over again for example look at halo and gears. I think the Wii is totally worth getting for SSBB and MK. For FPS games I'll stick with the PC.
Chix whats your Mario Kart code? Do you have SSBB too?

The Wii division is only 4 hours a week. It's real easy to bang those out. Come play :D

true,4 hours is real easy and far as Wii games being competative. Gamebattles supports both SSBB and Mario Kart, plus I just got a invite to a SSBB tournament site. SSBB is supported in tournaments,I go on sites where they are listed. Wii is mad fun,I love my SSBB and Mario Kart divisions. :mvlove:
I love my fighting game divisions,I think no matter how many other fighters we have, I won't leave the Wii games, they are too much fun :) nothing's better then annoying Star with Pit :mvboogie:

The system is a lot of fun and it's different. It is selling a ton and is still in high demand for as long as its been out and the demand has not faded.
I think the Wii Smash Bros can become more competitive than the Game Cube version simply because it now has online play. Being able to game against others online is what helps build a competitive scene for a game. Nintendo isn't going to be as big of a competitive scene as PC or Xbox but it's stepping in the right direction to get it going that way.
If anything it's still fun just to play with people in this gaming community so if anyone wants to play with us for fun just let me know.

I was at Best Buy one day and I picked up the LAST 360 from the floor model and I felt pretty good about myself. So I was walkin' around the store, looking for games to buy for it when I came across 2... Nintendo... Wiis...
...
...
So I bought them both (paid a guy $10 to get it for me), kept one and sold the other for $400. Don't tell me the Wii's a gimic ; it's just in demand cuz it's so unique. It's not a huge, bulky, powerful gaming PC-made-console... it's fun! :mvwink:

I have a wii. but.................I rarely play it. The online system should have been better. They should have incorporated the GT system instead of wii codes. I don't even know my code by memory. I have it written on paper taped beside my wii.
Don't get me wrong, it's a unique system and can be fun but. It's just not my cup of 24/7 tea. I have beaten SMBB though and the new Zelda game, which are pretty good. oh and the new RE chronicles game, that was fun.

Yeah but Nintendo has never had the GT system and they most likely never will. Besides Wii doesn't need online to be fun, do it the old fashioned way and invite a few friends over ;)

tis true but it would be nice if they just had GT :\ would save alot of people the confusion of having multiple "codes" (ie. wii code, brawl code, kart code.)

That's also true but then people would bash them for stealing Microsoft's idea and that's the last thing the little thing needs :(

Wii's are still in constant demand because they are such a unique system. In a way it's almost like the new innovative board game for the friends and family. It's inexpensive as far as consoles go and you can have a group of people over to enjoy fun games some that get you off the couch and some that don't.
Yes, the codes for each game is a bit silly but hey we all have cell phones. I just store my numbers in my cell so I have them on me at all times to give to whoever. I too would appreciate having just a gamer tag and I don't think that would be stealing from Microsoft because it is nothing more than just having a screen name which is what multiple chat programs and websites use etc.
The online can be a bit laggy at times but it's Nintendo's first crack at it. You can't expect it to be perfect right out the gate. I applaud Nintendo for going online. It creates a bigger gaming community and also allows for more competitive play. Which right now is limited to games such as Smash and Mario Kart. There are other games like Mario Chargers or whatever that soccer game is and the Olympics one with Sonic. Those won't be as big though. But that happens with all systems. Just like Halo is the main game for Xbox other online games won't compare.
Creed if you have beaten Smash you need to come play online with the rest of us. The story mode if fun but online play is where it gets to be a lot more fun.

its just that the wii was in too much of a hurry to be in the competition with ps3 and 360 they sold early and then they only sell 3-2 units to gamestores or electronic stores at a time plus for it to be a 3rd gen the graphics suck for most games conduit sucked brawl its ok ONLY IF THERES SOMEONE ELSE TO PLAY IT WITH metoird prime looks like it sucks the only game i like that will be on wii is pikmin3, ju-on, brawl, & mario party
