A song I'm listening to right now, lyrics probably have nothing to do with me but the way it sounds resonates with how I feel right now, with the exception of the up-tempo part of it.

"Behind Blue Eyes" by The Who

No one knows what it's like
To be the bad man
To be the sad man
Behind blue eyes

No one knows what it's like
To be hated
To be fated
To telling only lies

But my dreams
They aren't as empty
As my conscience seems to be

I have hours, only lonely
My love is vengeance
That's never free

No one knows what it's like
To feel these feelings
Like I do
And I blame you

No one bites back as hard
On their anger
None of my pain and woe
Can show through

But my dreams
They aren't as empty
As my conscience seems to be

I have hours, only lonely
My love is vengeance
That's never free

When my fist clenches, crack it open
Before I use it and lose my cool
When I smile, tell me some bad news
Before I laugh and act like a fool

If I swallow anything evil
Put your finger down my throat
If I shiver, please give me a blanket
Keep me warm, let me wear your coat

No one knows what it's like
To be the bad man
To be the sad man
Behind blue eyes

I've been brooding a lot, so excuse the deepness or at least what looks like it.

It's a great song, though. The Who is a great band.

The Who is indeed a great band, but Limp Bizkit have managed to ruin this song for me.

Eh just don't listen to that poopy version. :pTrust me, I would if I could - the problem was that it got such heavy rotation at the radio and TV, it was impossible to avoid it all together.

Not to mention that terrible movie with Halle Berry.

Hmm, I don't think I've ever heard it on the radio. Maybe once or twice. I guess I'm listening to the right station. >.<

Apoth3osis - What movie was that?

Gothika

It was the one where Halle Berry's character was admitted to the mental institution in which she worked.

Oh yeah, that was a bad movie. I don't remember that song in the movie though.

It was during the last scene, and into the end credits... and for some reason I can remember that too... wierd.

wow are you kidding I like the who, but imo the limp bizkit version was much better.
the part in the who version where he says what it's liiiiike sounds funny to me.

I dont hear the limp bizkit version too often, but in a resturant kitchen where I used to work, the who version was played everyday on a random classic rock station, so I grew tired of it.

Wow, the Who is pretty much one of my favorite bands of all time, and this song is one of my favorites :)
And Limp Bizkit ruined the song. =x
