Ok i signed it. :D This would also be good to if accesories were included. But either way having an extended warrenty on the console is even better.

I don't think an internet petition have ever changed anything, so I'm steering clear of this.

You'd be amazed how much petitions can sway companys. And I dont think Microsoft would ignore something like this for two very big reasons. A)A lot of people from PMS are signing it, one of the biggest XBL clans, and B) Microsoft is in a better place now than ever to win the console wars and I dont think they'd want to ignore people as it could cause them to lose much needed support going against the PS3. And I've signed it:D

Sure, it would be a nice gesture, but I'm unsure if it's that good of a move from a business perspective.
One of the best examples that online petitions don't do any good is probably the Futurama petition that was going on some time back - they had over 200,000 signatures, and it didn't help one bit. The reason why Futurama is now being brought back is due to very, very good DVD sales.

Sorry, a bit off subject... but they are bringing it back? As in showing new episodes?

 what was wrong with it?
At that point, I'd almost just consider buying a core version and find something useful to do with the broken one.

I'm in Canada so it's $400 for a core unit. Hardware failure. 3 flashing red lights and it didn't turn on. I'm happy I have a working one again
