Ahh, I'm so psyched for this game. Too bad it was delayed again. Now it's planned for a late October release, instead of early September, which was a delay from the original March date.
Part of me wants to kick Ubisoft, the other part wants me to have them take their time and make this game perfect.
So, any thoughts? I've watched a bunch of stuff on IGN, and it looks like they really vamped everything to take full advantage of the 360's hardware. I might have to buy one early, lol.
I also bet the multiplayer is gonna be great, it always has been.

i am SO stoked 4 this game as well . . . it's on my bday list :)

This looks to be the best incarnation yet. From what i've seen this could be a bit more difficult as there isnt a hud (in any of the vids ive seen anyways), but im sure it'll be as awesome, if not more awesome than the other 3. Woot, I cant wait for it.

I'm glad Ubi is taking a different approach with it's games, like the Rainbow Six series and now the Splinter Cell's. This makes it a brand new game instead of just kind of an expansion, y'know?
I don't mind at all that it's been delayed, it's just a month anyway. I've been pumped since they announced this game! I'm a big SC fan, and I'm happy it now has 3 vs 3, (we always seemed to have to leave one guy out), so this will include the usual crew I play CT with.
Since they've delayed it again this allows for more time debugging and extra polish so it can be better. It also gives me a chance to finish my current games :)
Oh some new features include:
Mercs no longer have mines.
Mercs can only carry one gadget at a time, but can go back to the spawn and pick up whatever they would like to take with them at any time.
Mercs can go from 2nd floor to 1st by walking up to a rail and hitting A. They'll repel down a rope kind of like in Rainbow Six Vegas.
When a spy gets near a merc the mercs controller will begin to vibrate, and intensify the closer the spy gets.
Spies can hack ANYTHING from anywhere via a wristwatch. You must be in range and it will have bars like a cell phone signal. They also said it will take longer to hack something with your wristwatch (up to a whole minute).
Spies are a lot more agile and faster now than ever before.
If a spy runs through a mercs frontal field of vision he will be outlined in white until he is out of the mercs view again.

This makes things exciting! I just hope that vibrating controller thing isn't too cheap and it's like the sound detection in CT, where if a spy is too noisy it'll show up (or in this case, rumble).
Oh yea there is no hud, you judge it on realistic things (kind of in fight night with the facial expressions, etc.)
