Myspace Problems

As alot of you know Myspace has been having probs for a while now. There is a virus that is getting embeded in the "about me" section where all the html is for your back grounds and such. Everyone needs to update your virus defs in what ever virus software you have and run a complete scan. If you dont have a virus software (which is a no no) go to www.grisoft.com and get avg free.....install update and scan......
If anyone needs help let me know. I have already seen about 4 computers affected by this just today....
My Monday next week will be bad..........Theres no telling how many computers will come in Sat.

yea X its maying that its an invalid ID, my friends are doing that too. :( Its really not cool. I havent been able to sign on all day because its saying its In-Valid, but When i got to my URL it doesnt work either :(.. Its evil

I updated my post with a url to show proof.......trust me I have delt with this all freakin day long. I am a computer tech and I have had computers going down all over town.

I think I just got the virus, I could sign in three hours ago but now it says my profile is invalid...

Another program you guys can run is Adaware www.lavasoft.com it is free also for personal use install update then run a full system scan and scan for low level threats also

PMS Stargirl, thank you for bringing up this subject because I had no idea there was a virus going around. About two months ago I had to have my computer repaired because some sort of trojan or something destroyed all the information on it. Thats what I get for having my firewall/anti-virus software off. Your thread reminded me that I should be a bit more careful...so thanks!

Your welcome.....Everyone needs to have some kind of virus protection on their pc....And AVG does a great job at finding stuff that "other" programs dont find..... I install AVG on every computer i have to reload due to virus'.

Yeah, i heard about this virus, but it doesnt matter because Myspace crashed for some reason and deleted my myspace :D
