HELP! I'm getting a Wii

So I just bought myself a Wii, I'm going to pick it up tonight, and I'm getting Wii Fit on the way.
So I'm wondering, what other games should I pick up? Any accessories that I should get as well?

I'm getting Zelda and Super Mario Galaxy pretty soon, maybe Super Smash Bros. Brawl. But other than that I'm not sure. Maybe some classics games that I should look into getting as well?
And has Animal Crossing been released for Wii?

Any ideas and help would be highly appreciated, as I haven't own my own Wii before and I really want to get some new games and get started. :D

I have zelda and if you liked the others than you'll definately like this one!
also have wii play and wii sports which are good to play with others but not that good if you just want to play on your own.
super mario galaxy is good fun too!
trauma centre? that surgery one is quite cool! and actually quite addictive but maybe not if you dont like hospital stuff, its not gorey or anything cos its on anime characters but some people i know just cant stand it! :mvreallyhappy:

I know those games. I got the mariokart for the wii. I just borught mario Galaxy but I let my best friend hold it. Until I catch up on my rpg's on the Ps2. But, now u said mario galaxy is fun I'm curious for trying it out... SSBB is good fighting game... Its always fun to beat up on favorite characters.... and the Mario kart is excellent.. I do think they kind of rushed it fast, but its still good even to race online....

Animal Crossing is a mustttttt!!!!! The "My Sims" game is also kinda simular, not AS good but still good!

Zelda is a must if you like RPG!!!

I had Trauma Centre for DS. It was fun, until it got too hard. :D And I've heard the Wii one is even tougher.
So far I've only got Wii Fit. It's actually a lot of fun, thought I can't say those 25 min or so I spent were very tough.

Animal Crossing for Wii is the best game I can imagine for my little white console, but as far I as I can tell it's not out yet?
I spent soooo many hours on m DS AC:WW, ah it's awesome. :D
When it's out I wanna visit other people towns and stuff.

Games for the system that are good.

Well Wii Play comes with another wiimote, so that is the best deal you can get a game and a wiimote. At the same time it has some fun little games.

Resident Evil 4 for the wii is by far one of the best games ever. Even if you have played it already on the gamecube or Ps2, the Wii version is the best. Such an amazing game and soooo worth the purchase.

For a first person shooter.....Metroid is amazing, and i heard Medal of honor is good for the system and has online multiplayer.

Racers.....Exit Truck is one amazingly fun game......and Mario Kart Wii is awsome as well.

Action adventure......Zelda....and Okami. Both excelent, but if you feel like you want to delve into something different then Zelda. Okami is seriously one of the greatest games out there.

Point and Click puzzle games....Zack and Wiki....cheap and fun.

Crazy weird games......No More heros......and Dewys Adventure.

Gimmiky.....Trauma Center is alot of fun, i havent played the sequal but that one is acctually made for the Wii unlike the first one which was a DS port. The sequal also has two player co-op. Almost mandatory two player in some levels.......Links Crossbow training, this game is actually alot of fun more to it then i thought there would be.

As far as Virtual Console games just download whatever hits your fansy. If you never played Ocorina of time the DO IT. Then there are all the old school Mario games. Dont download MARIO BROS thats a waste of money, and you acctually get that game with Super Mario 3. But download Super Mario Brothers.........then there is the REAL Super Mario Brothers 2.....that was basically only released in Japan, download that one its awsome and MUCH harder then the first. Just make sure you dont download the American crap version.


So yah thats a semi lowdown. ^_^ Im just gonna say this to end it. You will not be complete till you buy Resident Evil 4.....every Wii collection should have this amazing game. Buy it and Enjoy it. ^_^

Classics rock its like bringing back the old days with the NES. My favorite would have to be zelda. And for a good game i say zelda: the twlight princess it's controls bring out the wii's best so does COD: 3

Aside from those you mentioned... I love Mario kart and Metroid Prime 3. Also, MLB Power Pros is a GREAT GREAT baseball game if you can find it. (Don't let the cute appearance fool you! it is FUN!)

Also remember that your Wii plays Gamecube games, of which Paper mario 2, and Zelda Wind Waker are Essentials!
