Yeah my parents were like that.. when they were together but yeah being grounded isnt all THAT BAD well.. i havent been grounded for a while since i never get into trouble do my chores and stuff but sometimes i tend to stay up really late playing with friends on live.. but other than that im ok. But hey tell your parents your to old to get grounded it might work >.>

This is just a sign that the care about you and I am sure they are trying to do things for your best interest. Many parents don't understand the online or gaming communities and all they see is their children holed up in their room for hours. I am sure when you are a parent you would have the same concerns, as I know I would too!

That being said, maybe you can try to talk to them about what exactly it is you do and educate them more about your experiences and relationships online. They might not be so fearful if they are looped into whats going on =P

Yeah, we talked about what went on. We made up and now im ungrounded.
She said she grounded me because she cares about me.

I used to always want to be out of the house already, and have my own life. Honestly, in a way, you've got it made. I'm living on my own twelve hours away from my mom, and I remember when I lived there. No bills, an allowance, etc.

Don't knock 'em for loving you. Sure, being grounded sucks, but it'll be over with quickly if you find ways to occupy your time that doesn't break the grounding rules.

You really should enjoy your time right now, as im sure you have heard many times. BUT GUESS WHAT im sure you will end up getting my age and telling someone your age the same thing to them. When i think back on when i was going through school it was a great time (believe me i had a far worse growing up then many have im sure, not the worst but suckage for sure) even through that life was easier, more care free. Take your time with it, enjoy each moment as its last, becouse sooner then you realize you are going to get what you want and realize its not all its cracked up to be.

Lmao. We're simliar in a way....l'm lucky l can control my temper, but my father's not around, so you're lucky there. There's my mom, grandmother, and auntie. l'm the only male in the house, which is actually beneficial because l get a hands-on lesson on what NOT to say to women, how to treat them, etc., instead of listening to rap and "BLAH BLAH BLAH!!!
