i got just the think... ah a good one would be Blood + thats SUPERB, lots of action, great character development, the plot is good. you can look it up in at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blood%2B BUT DO NOT READ TO MUCH AT THIS SITE, they have a lot of spoilers, so i would not read to much of the characters. the story is about a girl named Saya. she the ordinary high school girl, or is she? one day there have been many murders andthen she is attacked by a monster and a stranger saves her. and then days after the attacked she is followed by him, and he says he is saposed to protected her, his name is Haji, so her step brother Kai and riku play along. and the story picks off from here. she is told that only she can fight these monsters, because only her blood can kill them. at the moment im at ep 39 and it goes above 50, you can get more info on it at anidb.net. and bleach is super aswell, im at ep 90 rite now.

Well i know not many of you would watch anime because there is not much on tv in north america. the only things we get here is like Fullmetal Alchemist which is a good anime but the english voices Suck!! the same goes for gundam seed, naruto, etc they are good animes but the english voice actors are bad bad bad.....:eek: :eek: thats why i like to watch the anime with subs and the original voices. and i can't belive it, people still watch some old anime, and man i tell ya, since i have seen the best and newest anime the ld stuff look like AWWW to me now, but its still good, but when i look back at the days when i thougt this was like the best of the best i think what the Hack????

have any of you heard of Fullmetal Alchemist? the series is about 52 eps long and theres a movie which takes off a few months after the show, and Ed is in the real world... well our world in 1925 near after WW1. well i don't want to spoil anything else
but i have to say, they sent this super duper anime down the toilet:mad: anyway for those who do not know it, its about a boy named Ed and his younger bro Al, when they were kids their mother died and then they try to bering her back with alchemy. back they failed and then it got worse.... Ed lost his leg, and Al lost his Body, then Ed sealed Al's soul into a aromor and as a trade his scarifced his arm. So Al came back in a sute of armor and saw his Brother nearly dead, he toke him and rushed to his grand ma's house and asked for help and told them what happened. Ed asks them to give him robot lims. after the painful oporation he and Al go off on a journy to get their bodys back the why they were and try to bering their mom back if they can. and thats where it starts, well after the first ep where they are inthe future, then it goes back a few years before. if you want to get it you can at www.baka-updates.com and for more info go to www.anidb.net :cool:

Ya those are good too but they are kindda old, but stil good. Man but fooly Cooly or furry Curry or for short FLCL, made no sense to me? i was like ok what the fack his dads dead, she had sex with his dad, she has a guitar just like his Bro, and then they go away togther and looks like they got down and:p each other on the bench, then they are fighting eachother with bebe guns and his father is dressed up like a nazi and the long barral gun???????????????????/ andthen she leaves to find this Evil dude, and like WTF is up with the robo dude coming out of his head all the time.......... in the end this show was funny and she was hot but it just made no sense to me... wellll a little:confused: i even have the FLCL original Fan Art how to draw book, strate from japan:D

Noir is SUPER COOOOOL but one of my favs gets killled:( she was like super sexy and like 'im the true Noir' i was like awwwwww this sucks...... but in the end it was a good action anime which i watched like... 2 years ago

Samuri Sham was ok, my favorite ep was when she puts those bombs in her chest zone and it looked like she got them inhansed, i was like O.k..... how did she get so big all of a sudden???? and then i find out it was really bombs. it was a good show too, kindda like FLCL

But one of my ABSOLUTE favorites is Samuri Deeper Kyo, nothing can beat that in it type of anime. but the end made me confused. i was like ok is it red eye kyo or the other dude who is now in control. It was in japanness so i could not tell the voices apart from each other. IT HAD BETTER BE KYO!!! not that wuss, but then it got me thinking ok he's selling meds with that super sexy girls so it maybe kyoshero, that would suck.... but all the way this anime ROCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!

im still watching ghost in the shell, i have not had enough time to yet.

but the other animes like black cat are cool, heres the low down on black cat
its about this dude named Black Cat, real name Train Heartnet. He is an assassian
working for chrono numbers, an orgenization trying to keep their idea of world peace. when he was a kid his parants were killed right in front of his eyes, then the one who killed them trained him to kill, train's plan was to one day avenge his parants death by killing him. but one day he is killed by someone else, so train realalizes that he can nerver have his vengence, so he was later found by chronos number and they saw that he was a cold blooded kill and he would not ask any question about who or why to killl, so they gave him his gun hades and the Name "Black Cat Chrono Number XIII". and so his life begain..... then when he is 22 years old after one of his killings he meets a girl named Saya, she is a Sweeper(Bounty Hunter Who does not kill) and she tought him who to love again and that there are good people in the world but........ then Creed Diskence (Which is the name i toke for this site and Xbox live hahahaahahahahahahahahahahahaha so no one can take it.) his parter, not officaly tho finds out and that train is not a cold blooded killer anymore and he see that they are starting to fall in love and over hears that they are going to meet at a festavil. He asks train to join him and distroy chrono and make a new and better world where they would rule. Train rufuse him and chrono and want to be a free cat
that does not take orders any more from anyone, and folow his heart. after the betrayal Creed thinks that he should return to his normal self by Killing her. Well thats as far i go, i don't want to spoil anything else. lololololololololololololol

It's about a half vamp half human named D (short for Dhampir I think, which is the name for half vamps half humans). I don't remember the specifics but I do remember he had a left hand that had a human face and could talk. It was cool.

O and there is another good horror, its called TOKKO, its about this dude who just graduated out of the police detective training and is out to find the murderor of his parants, and he lives with his younger sister who grauated from the police force. he then joins a special force called Tokki, and then learns that those who did not die on the day his parants and several other at this place, were given powers of greater strengh. But now the monsters are after him and his little sister and the rest of the servivers of the incadent beause of their extrodenary blood. Those who lived from that time of the murder all suddenly have gotten these tatto syembols on there bodies. altho this anime is only 13 eps long, but its good, blood guts action, some nudity, such as one of the Lt.s wheres no shirt, only a jackect, which is open, then she takes it of to show him her syembol on her shoulders, note it is not a hentai, but lots of echi, im so far at ep 9, but all of the eps are out now at www.baka-updates.com if you need more info go to www.anidb.net or ask me

There is another good anime that should be comeing to north america soon, it is called Bleach and so far it is 93 and still ongoing, here is a short brefing on it.
Kurosaki Ichigo is not a regular 15 year old, because he has always had the ability to see spirits and ghosts. One day, a female Shinigami (God of Death) named Kuchiki Rukia appears before him, hunting for an evil spirit. But during the confrontation, the Shinigami`s powers are transfered to Ichigo. some good action or martial arts anime would be tenjou tenge and Ikkitousen.
note both of these animes have lots of ecchi and 100X ecchi for Ikkitousen, basicly the main character for Ikkitousen is Hakufu a tomgirl who does not care about being seen naked and the only thing she cares about is fighting, and most of the time her cothing gets torn to the point were you can almost see :eek: ya know. but it does not show the whole shabang ya know. this is not to new of an anime but has a good story line, well kindda, and lots of fights and ecchi and romance and her cousin who trys to protect her and secrectly loves her but trys not to show it, and he gets his bum kicked all the time since he is so weak and is almost killed by this prev dude who alway grops all the gal hoots then Hakufu try to get revenge. the series ends short tho. but it is still a good anime but some of my favorite characters die:( :( and for tenjou tenge comes in two forms, the manga X RATED shows in more graphic, and the waterd down anime ver. i have not personly saw the manga, but my bro has, but in manga for instance when this bad dude comes and distroys the main characters buddy bob house and motor bike and assualts bobs girl friend in the manga she is "raped" and then naturaly bob trys to go and kill him but gets his ?FunnyBunnyFunnyBunnyFunnyBunny? handed to him. the anime is about a high school boy named Nagi, the bad /FunnyBunnyFunnyBunnyFunnyBunny/ who beats the you know what out of every one who challanges him and he thinks he is like unbeatable and when he comes to his new school he does what he always did with his bubby bob trys to beat every one, exacpt the girls up, and then the enforcer of the school aya who takes the form of a school girl in a komono turns into her older form and WASTES him by hiting hiom with a wooden sword, (note when she turns into her older form since her cloths are smaller it looks like a miny skert with a bra.) and bad for her he falls into the girls shower and it just so happens her younger sister maya is taking a shower and he falls on her, you would expect her to get all mad but she falls MADDLY inLOVE with him, but he does not share the feeling. he later falls inlove with her older sister aya instede, and they kiss and as bad luck would have it, you know what happens maya sees it and is heart broken........ well thats all im gona tell you, and theres more to it if you are wondering, for more info go to www.anidb.net or http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tenjou_Tenge

FATE/ STAY KNGIHT.... this anime is very very very good, it is about several people, and the main character is a highschool dude name Emiya Shirou, who was one of the survied the last Holy Grail War, i'll tell ya about it in a min. When he was saved by a man he then knew as his father as they lived toghter he wanted to become a hero. his parants were kill aswell as many others. when he was found he was around 7-8 years. then the story starts when he is in high school. he lives in his fathers house, and his teacher, who was a close friend, promesed to look after him when he died. (his father died that is) also a friend since childhood comes over all the time and cooks for him, he tells her that she does not have to but, she is in love with him. any who then one day there have been several murders in town, bad news the next war has started. then he encounters a Servant (Great warriors of the past who go by code names like
Lancer, Assassian etc) the one he sees in Lancer and he trys to run from him but is Killed by him....... then the one lancer was fighting Tohsaka Rin and her servant Arher
Rin sees his dead body and revives him. then later he encounters Lancer Again, he's after him because he is also a master (One who controls a servant) then when he is about to get killed again his servant Saber is finaly sommond. some say that she is the strongest servant of them all. Lancer gets away after the fight alvo it is never revild who the master was of him and if he died or not. Rin being a master her self tells him about the holy grail war and that when all of the masters are DEAD then the grail is shown and they get to make one wish. she tells him they have to die or they must give up their right of maste and their servant. He says that he does not want anyone to die, being the kind man that he is, and since the whole time he already had some powers, the power to minipulate objects to your will, Trace. then she agrees to teach him and that they will ally up untill.... they are the last two.......... Each servant has a name, which tells who they were in time, Saber was really King or sould i say queen Arhur!! ya i know he was a guy not a gal, but they wanted to twist it for this one. she is cold and shows no emotions, and
wants to win the war, but later Shirou saves her a few time and nearly dies. she always tells him that he is a BAKA (ideot in japanness) and that she can heal faster then he can, but since they are link and he has already died before he does not fear pain, and he heal fast too, and later she starts to show some emotions, such as when she toke a bath the first time she told him to look at her naked body, and told him there is nothing wrong about it and for him to get over that, but later she starts to talk her words back, because he tells her to kindda. in the mean time there are other forces at work here.... all a round this is a goood anime with lots of ation drama, comidy, and a wi bit of ecchi. here is the anidb report on this super duper anime.Emiya Shirou is a highschool boy who lives in Fuyuki City. His parents died in a fire when he was young, after that he was adopted by an old man who refer himself as a sorcerer, but he died too.
What Shirou doesn`t knew, is that the underground of Fuyuki City is the place of a great war.

Mobile Suit Gundam SEED C.E.73 -STARGAZER- is a 3-episode ONA (Original Net Animation) taking place immediately after the "Break the World" event (An event that happens in the start of Gundam SEED Destiny where Junius Seven crashes into the Earth). The show was directed by Susumu Nishizawa and written by Shigeru Morita, both staff members of Gundam SEED Destiny. Character designs were by Oonuki Kenichi instead of Hirai Hisashi.

STARGAZER will star Sven Cal Bayan, a 19-year old male Natural who is a member of the Phantom Pain special forces and pilots the GAT-X105E Strike Noir. It also features Selene McGriff, a 28-year old female Coordinator and a researcher of the "Stargazer Project" for the Deep Space Survey and Development Organization (DSSD).

A preview DVD will be provided with the first production run of the HG Strike Noir model kit. First episode was streamed on July 14th, second episode will be shown on August 18th and the third and last episode will be shown on September 22nd. Also it was revealed that a DVD containing all three episodes will be released on November 24.

another good anime would be AMG short for Ah my Goddess. its about this collage student who is to good for his own good, and one day he gets a phone call from a goddess named Belldandy, ya i know Funckydunky name eh, when you hear it that is,
and she comes out of the phone and tells him that since he has been so good he gets one wish, then he goes wow a wish!! then she tells him about what he could wish for
such as Him as a Dictator and rule the world with an iron Fist ya know, and he thinks him self in a Nazi suite doing the hitleir thing, hahhahah its really funny. then she tells him that he can be rich and have all the girls he wants, then he think of him self in a pool with them in swim suites. but then he makes his wish, "I wish i had a goddess like you".................. then she has to stay with him foreveor..... but being a kind and gentle soul they both are, they start to fall in love.. not it that kind of way. heres some info anidb gave.

i know what ya mean, its like it takes for ever to come out to the US and when it does they sell em like on dvd for 3eps for like 24 dolllors, then for the box set which is hard to find at times, is like you said over 100 some times. o and another good anime which has come to NA is Gunslinger Girl, its about these middle school girls how have been trained all their life to assassante and master their marksmenship skill. its pretty good, i would give it 8/10 but ya. the best way to get anime i have to say is to download it.
i don't mined reading subs with jap vocies, some times and most of the time the jap vocies are better then the english ones, and you learn some japanness whaile you are watching.

seriously...thats why i kinda stopped anime for a couple of years....too much money....i think gits was like 30 for about 3 episodes back when it came out.....thats why i waited cuz i was hoping it wud come on tv (and it did)

Depending on the voice talent it can be lost in translation when listening to the english version...myself i usuially do the jap with eng subs.

o yes that is tru. I actually watch episodes in jap with eng subs then just plain english. their is so much more stuff that is different. You do lose a lot. but sometimes, i dont feel like reading so ill go with english. but then ill go back and read tha eng sub.....either way anime is soo flippin awesome. dont understand why ppl dont like it.

i did'ent like reading ethier first but i got use to it, so i know what ya mean. but the thing that shocks me most that so many kids and teens in my area still watch stuff like sponge bob sqaure pants, and bob the builder, and all kinds of other wacked out cartoons. and i asked some of them and they have never even heard of anime.:eek:
then i was like wow, is this the real world..... or am i in the matrix where almost no one knows about anime........

While super robot taisen's a gba game if you like : anime,sci-fi,robots/mechs,rpg's and stratigy games (same type of game as fire emblem,advance wars or the good shining force games) well i can't recommend it enough.

Even newtype usa (anime mag) gave it top marks.

I always watch atlus games as like working designs before them bring aaa+ games out
that are unheard of in the states...go atlus.

I've liked Neon Genesis Evangelion, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun and the Full Metal Alchemist Movie. The FMA series is really... annoying, especially Alphonse Elric.

I'm not big on Naruto, however. Naruto reminds me of Al+Ed from FMA and that combination just bothers me. I haven't watched anime in ages (well since lasy may when I attended my first Anime Con). The people at the convention that dressed creepy weird, not like normal cos-playing, scared me.

I feel like I'm forgetting a series that I like/liked.

another good anime that just came out is called black blood brothers or BBB for short, the main character is a vamp that looks kindda like the dude from hellsing but with the samuri deeper kyo face and sword and in the future. check it out at anidb.net i have so far seen only the first ep, and the show is going to be i think it was 12 eps long, and so far there are just two eps out, i got them at baka-updates.com , and the subers have good quality i have to say.

well, i just saw the last 3eps of blood + and i have to say, dude this is just wack, poor kai, his life went down the shizer. well the end is kindda dum and not, kindda in the middle
well i don't want to spoil anything but here is the good news, aya, kai david, lwis, and the rest of the remaining good guys don't get killed, but saya has to go to sleep for 30 YEARS! and when she wakes up kai will be in his 50's and Mao went with the photo dude, and kai decides to take care of Diva's two daugthers and at the last fight we all think haji gets kill by the bomb that blew the city up but when saya is sleeping and kai and the two kids of diva come for a visit they find a rose with haji's ribbon on it, so he's okay. and julea and david got married and she pregnat before saya goes to sleep. i wish they would at least make a 3ep ova of what happens after the show. but what i find wack is that that show dude who did divas make up and was super fast just asked saya to kill him but then... he's alive!! maybe he was not divas chevalier but maybe her father??? well in the end it was a good anime.....

don't worry about kenshin, it has a dumb end, which is the ova ver. i think it was the last two of the ova which then takes place a few years after the tv seires. its to sad. but the tv ver of it was pretty good, lots of action and fights, not bad if you ask me, and the first two of the ova, takes place when he's was a kid and how he became a masicker assassian, pretty gory if ya ask me, and like i said the last two eps of the ova takes place after the tv show, but if you don't want to see the dumb ver of the end don't watch it........ Le Chavalier D'Eon thats a goooood anime, and it has something to do with the real world. back a few 100 year ago in the time of King Lweis the i don't know which one in france king lweis had some spys, one of them was chevalier d'Eon a brilliant CROSSDRESSER and fooled many into thinking he was a she. now, the anime though has a bit defferant point of view of this. in the anime his sister died and her soul from time to time takes over his body and he turns into a woman. wird eh. but after a few eps it gets better. i got it from www.baka-updates.com i give it so far a 7.5/10

I only skimmed thru the whole thread cuz i'm kinda in a rush to go to work but i'll come back and read thru all the posts later. so forgive me if these are repeats, but some of my favorites are....

Innocent Venus. and not just for the name either. this series is soooooo goooooood. I love the animation and the characters are badasss. Right now it's on the 11th episode. the 12th and final ep comes out saturday, and i can't wait to see how it ends.

Death Note. I just checked out the first 3 episodes the other day, and i was immediately hooked. the premise is awesome. and i heard something about a live action movie was out or coming out for it. not sure. I can't wait til the new episode comes out!! someone should get into this series with me.

I only have one other friend who watches these anime series' and loves them as much as i do. I also just downloaded all the Samurai Cham. and Hellsing. I hope those are good.

Death Note is the pinnacle of anime for me. My real name starts with a"L." So after seeing this show my new nickname is simply L. I even look and kinda think like L which is wierd. And I have a friend whos blonde and number one in our high school class and kinda looks like Light and talked about "purifying" the world way long before we even heard a whisper of Death Note. Kinda wierd and freaky and sweet lol how this show parraleled our lives. Anyway I saw one episode and my jaw dropped and I was hooked and I still am. Every episode draws me in.

Naruto I enjoy, it will get better when the new episodes come out Feb 15th. If you have read the manga Naruto as a series gets cool.

Bleach I used to watch before it went to fillers and is another good solid series. And in Feb new eps should be coming out so Feb should be a month for me lol

FLCL has been mentioned before but its so good it needs to be mentioned again. Its a genius love story and inspired me to get a vespa lol

Excel Saga is a comedy anime parodying many other animes and it is non linear like FLCL and is amazing.

Appleseed the original which came out like in 80's or 90's was one of my favorites and turned me onto anime and I just bought the new movie for my cus for Christmas.

Hellsing is so dark and deep its so cool and it deals with Britian which made it cool. And their is a kickass butler in it so thats always amazing in my book. And the main char is just so bad ***.

Busou Renkin is a simple anime but I like to watch it on the weekends. I'm not loosing sleep over it like I am for Death Note. But its not bad. I enjoy it.

Air Gear is a wierd anime about rollerblading which I just got into. Not bad its fun to watch but again not that amazing. I recomend it for fun.

I'm currently looking into torrenting some more so I'll be back here again to grace you with my opinions lol muhahahahahahahahaha

sorry, when L died i couldn't go on. That guy was my favorite, and the main reason i kept reading was because of him. Yes, i got past the "fake L death"~ and to the point where he's replaced by two little punk kids >_>; sorry, i couldn't do it
AS FOR THE ANIME! I don't like their twist on Light being all ...vocally psychotic. I always pictured him as the controlled evil genius sort, that only lets out a "crazy" laugh when alone or with his death god. Good plot, but taken teh wrong way overall IMO.

Main reason you're getting more classics creed, is because most people haven't downloaded the japanese stuff with subs :P they wait for dubs and catch em on TV. Sad thing is, most of the current new releases to English have had PATHETIC voice acting.

Good English Anime:
Air Gear (some cursing, but it isn't a ton and isn't "Anger" based pointless yelling)
DBZ (Dragonball Z, shouldn't need any introduction)
DB (dragon ball, DBZ's predecesor~ mostly comedy)
G Gundam ('nother gundam, about each nation having a representative for a world tournament)
Gundam Wing (Political gundam, primarily loved by girls [ok, i didn't care for it])
Vandread (Sci-fi with some amazing animation for it's time)
Outlaw Star (Sci-fi)
Cowboy Bebop (action with jazz, nice combo~ space cowboy-ish)
FLCL (hillarious, and random)

But mostly, the Subs have far superior voice acting; so long as you are comfortable reading while watching, i recommend subs for anybody/everybody.

sorry, when L died i couldn't go on. That guy was my favorite, and the main reason i kept reading was because of him. Yes, i got past the "fake L death"~ and to the point where he's replaced by two little punk kids >_>; sorry, i couldn't do it
AS FOR THE ANIME! I don't like their twist on Light being all ...vocally psychotic. I always pictured him as the controlled evil genius sort, that only lets out a "crazy" laugh when alone or with his death god. Good plot, but taken teh wrong way overall IMO.

Main reason you're getting more classics creed, is because most people haven't downloaded the japanese stuff with subs :P they wait for dubs and catch em on TV. Sad thing is, most of the current new releases to English have had PATHETIC voice acting.

Good English Anime:
Air Gear (some cursing, but it isn't a ton and isn't "Anger" based pointless yelling)
DBZ (Dragonball Z, shouldn't need any introduction)
DB (dragon ball, DBZ's predecesor~ mostly comedy)
G Gundam ('nother gundam, about each nation having a representative for a world tournament)
Gundam Wing (Political gundam, primarily loved by girls [ok, i didn't care for it])
Vandread (Sci-fi with some amazing animation for it's time)
Outlaw Star (Sci-fi)
Cowboy Bebop (action with jazz, nice combo~ space cowboy-ish)
FLCL (hillarious, and random)

But mostly, the Subs have far superior voice acting; so long as you are comfortable reading while watching, i recommend subs for anybody/everybody.

ya i guess, not everyone is an anime crazed people like you and me:D hmm i finished air gear and i have seen that the manga is pretty much done but they stoped making the anime. that just sucks, but i think they may continue if the show gets good reviws in NA.
i hope anyway, but mostlikely they will delete most of the ecchi parts which were in it. in the beginning i perferd dubed anime to but after a while of hearing sucky voice actors i just got sick of it, and now i watch just subs. it also improves my reading skills. but ya, the ones you have mentions up top with good voices had good vocie actors. but i have seen bleah on tv and i have to say the voice actors are pretty good. but they cut some sences out, like when Rukia steps on Kon for the first time from her closet he says "Oh me and ichigo were just talking about" and gets kicked away, but in the jap ver there is an arrow that he's looking up her skirt and says "Nice Angle" then gets kicked away. ya know what i mean. the three animes i hope they continue are Trinity Blood, which ended quicker cus the writer died of some cancer i think it was, and Air Gear Which only continues in the manga at the moment, and Gundam Seed Destiny. OH and chrono Crusade ended stupidly with the bad guy dude still alive after WW2, those are the four i ment that they should continue.

Hmm..i haven't seen chrono crusade in a while, i might go back to watch it~ but i remember being pretty satisfied with everything. It was sad, but i felt it was pretty well completed...where as some other anime i feel like they should have kept going; such as Midori no Hibi and Zero no Tsukaima.

And yeah, if things're too heavily edited it's just bad as a dub IMO >_>; I've HEARD outlaw star had a lot skipped out, but as i've never seen the subs i just said it was a good dubbing (the voices were fine IMO). Bleach...meh, there was a lot missing IMO, and i didn't care for some of the translations; i think they changed bits of some personalities', which i couldn't stand.

AND actually, so far it looks like there is MORE ecchi shown than there was in japan~ teh 2/3 crows have been removed, lol. More than likely that'll be changed when it hits TV (Depending on who pics it up)...but i can definately see somebody like Encore picking it up. Loving the manga~ and i dunno..i still see it going quite a ways.

You on chapter 126 of air gear? in the Raws they're up to 150z; they're knocking down sleeping forest, but the Jewel/Gem Road's King is still out there, and he seems to be the TRUE trump card, not Ringo. I'm wondering if there isn't a team beyond Sleeping forest. We'll see what happens ^_^

ringo and ikki fought, kicked some arse, and ended in a draw-ish state. Dunno what's going down there, and we still aren't quite sure what's happening with Simca; some people are speculating that ikki will have 2 tuners.

Trinity Blood DID seem incomplete, like there was a huge arc they just said "Screw it, we're pulling the plug NOW". Sucks that it was something like that >_<; i was enjoying it! It was a very unique arc to the vampire/human genre, kinda like what Eureka 7 was to the mecha series.

Hellsing Ultimate Series is a new OVA that is EXACTLY as the manga depicts the story. Only volume 1 (one episode, follows the first volume of the manga) has been released in the US, dubbed anyway.

You should watch Girls Bravo (both Seasons). It's loaded with ecchi (naughtiness) and perverted silliness, but it's hilarious.

Basically the main character keeps getting beat up because bad things happen to him and he tries to nervously explain what happened, but Kirie, his friend from next door, misunderstands and tells him to be perverted in hell and uses a variety of wrestling moves to beat him up.

features a young male student named Yukinari Sasaki (佐々木雪成, Sasaki Yukinari?) who was teased and bullied by girls to the point that he developed an allergic reaction, breaking out in hives whenever he comes into contact with a female. One day, when he comes back from school, he falls into the bathtub and gets transported to Seiren, a mysterious world with an almost entirely female population.

I don't even really like calling them anime because to me Anime means it was drawn by a Japanese person. And these for some reason don't look like they're drawn by a Japanese person to me.

they are good in my opinion fool, i like sad endings:cool: here are the ratings, Good= 7/10 Great= 8/10 Super cool dude= 9/10, and THE FREAKING UNICORN= 10/10

but, i just spolied bleach for myself and i know these amvs are going to be old news when the rest of the bleach eps with Kaien are out.

Kaien's killer which was that hollow which Aizen made was aten by the 9th espada member, who takes Kaiens form and decives Rukia into thinking that he is her beloved Kaien-Dono. He has all of his memories and attacks including his Zanpukto, don't think i spelled that right. he tricks rukia into thinking that he's going to help her kill aizen and tells her to follow him until he suddenly draws his sword and challanges her after she dodges his first attack. she finds out that his weaknes is the sun so she blows holes into the walls with her D-magic then showing his True form. But he gets himself back into the shadows and taking Kaiens Form again and deals a fatel blow to Rukia Stabbing her right
in the chest with his spear. Then the real spirit of kaien appears and she has a flash back
of one of kaiens lessions to her was. that he had already given his heart to her when he died. she then is pull towards the fake kaien which was his fatel mistake, then she draws her sword and strikes him down. In the end both and killed...... So it shows and Ulquiorra Tells Ichigo that before they fight. Ichigo then Flys into a Rage using everything he's got, including his Vizzard mode and bankai........in the end of that match Ulquiorra....wins.....

some of those have been posted and yes all good, but tenjou tenge ended short if you ask me, they only continued the manga which im collecting, though if your going to get the manga of tenjou get it from the internet, if you get the Offical english one from a store in NA its like pretty much fully Cencored. well thank goodness that some of it is cencord otherwise you would see Bob wang in Volume 9, which they thankfully put a black cover up thing. and like i said a while back the manga is why more uncut then the anime. and if you haven't seen the manga and are wondering how the F that happens heres a " " of it, bob and his friend are about to fight this dude after they saw him and two girls doing some weird perv thing, which was , he was holding a lolipop near his wang which made it look like well you know then they storm in the room then that dude say "Lets see what you GOT" then bob goes "Alright!" and does what i said he does, and everyone around him goes WTF!!!! and the weirdness continues in that vol. well that gives you an idea of what i mean.

i also orderd a manga called Vampire Knight which is going to be at the store i orderd it from on the 24 this month, yes thats right dex, im now collecting real manga so far i have 15 in my collection, that inculdes Love hina 1-5 so far, Chobits 1-2 so far, dot hack vol 1
trinity blood vol 1, dearS vol 1, black cat 1-3 so far, tenjou tenge vol 9 etc its not much but its a start, i figure that when the Digi world goes down might aswell have a hardcopy.;)

i also just saw the next ep of bleach which is 136 and Ulquoirra get beatten! I was shocked
to see that happen, maybe he did that on so they think he's dead, but he shows up and right after at the end of that ep. now the next episode comes out on agust 22....dam, now there are such long waitting times. F:mad:

Lucky Star is an amazing series, I laugh every time I was an episode. For those of you who saw that link to that site WAC don't go there, they are a bunch of (Ok they made me lose my temper so please excuse my foul words.) Focking @$$ holes! Not all dubbed anime is bad. It's just different. They change the scripts a little, so that what is being said makes more sense or so the lines flow more smoothly. They only BAD dubs are what run on TV because of censorship.

The most common reason for hating dub that I've heard is that the voice actors suck though. It's something I don't quite understand. I mean these people make a living using their voice. If they were bad at what they do, then how could they accomplish this? It's true some voice actors are better than others, but that's something that's true in any language.

Personally, I like dubs. I'm more trusting of something that was translated by professionals than some internet group who's subs are full of spelling and grammar mistakes and has you wondering if they actually have enough grasp of the English language to actually be able to translate something accurately.

Luckily, most anime DVDs have dual audio as well as subtitles. Once I'm done watching the anime in English, I can go back and watch it again the way it was originally recorded. I always have the subtitles on though, so I can spot where they re-wrote things and see exactly how they changed it. It's not usually anything big. Mostly stuff like instead of saying "The crayon is blue and big" they say "they big crayon is blue" or "the blue crayon is big." It's rare that they change the meaning of something. Unless of course it's on TV like One Piece, Naruto, etc.

Well at least you're not wishing that they'd stop making dubs all together just because you don't like them like I've seen some other people do. I'll give you that. :P

actually dex, I do speak a little japanese, it may be a little but it is still some, and I prefer subs because then its interesting when I notice something I learned in class, and I respect a lot of the english voice actors/actresses, it just seems theres more badly dubbed titles out there than good ones. and for some reason I don't feel the same emotions from the english VAs as the japanese VAs

Also I prefer hearing japanese to english

But Kaien, Quincy dude(forgot his name,) and a few others have not too good of a voice. Well thats my veiws on that. Thats why I prefer subs.

Now half the time the reason for those who prefer dub is becuase they don't want to read. So several people have told me when i asked them.Thats how I was too when I first learned of Anime, then after a while I got use to sub anime.

Anidb is probably your best bet for all of that. They even list the groups that have released a particular series and what stage they're at. No more waiting for nothing on stalled anime :P

yup aniDb is superb, and free for us, hehe. anywho I got around to watching Darker than black (and just a quick note I'm going to talk a little about what I think of the anime and parts of it that may be considerd spoilers to some), and well as you can all tell I put that show on my top ten list now, since I changed my avatar to the protagonist or should I say anti-hero Hei aka Black Reaper aka Li.I watched all the episodes in just 3 nights. MY KINDDA anime, bad azz main character lots of drama, BUT the plotline was confusing for a while. and just like trinity blood the show was just getting good near the end, and shows that it IS possible for a sequal (Which I hope happens) well I give Darker Than Black 8/10

I stopped watching DBZ after android, I stopped watching Pokemon after season #900, I stopped watching Bleach and Naruto cuz I was sick of waiting for new episodes and I stopped watching Yu-Gi-Oh! around season 3. If anime was just more action and less talking like Hellsing was, I'd never leave my house. But I honestly think Yu-Gi-Oh could have laid like... more than 5 cards per episode sometimes, DBZ could have been shortened from 350 epis to maybe 150 and Pokemon should have just ended after season 2 with Ash winning the goddam Pokemon league so he could just go home and sleep!! HE HASN'T WON A TOURNAMENT YET!! Seriously... That kid CANNOT WIN. Remember Gary? Gary won a tournament and then retired to work with his grandpa. THE END.

Right now, I'm trying to enjoy Code Eross/Code Geass but for the same reasons, I'm starting to hate it... /draw out action... /draw out action... COMMERCIAL!! /end of episode /next time!!

If you like anime, try looking up Hellsing. It's short (maybe 13 episodes), it's satisfying and it's got no filler!!

As for anime I would recommend, Black Cat, Darker Than Black,
Bleach, Fate Stay Night, Gundam Seed, & Gundam Seed Destiny, etc. really all depends on what type of Genre you like.

I use to watch quite a bit of anime, but I don’t really get any good anime anymore from my tv so its pretty sad. I basically like all that futuristic anime, haha I am also really big on the graphics, and art in the shows. I actually will be going to college for animation so I can make the characters and landscapes for movies, video games,… ect. But basically I will watch any anime show that is pretty, no mater the story… I will have to admit that I am a sucker for the art in most any anima show, game, manga, or whatever else… lol

AND OH MY GAWD!! How could I forget about Samurai Champloo? It's probably the only Animu I have on DVD. I honestly just watched the whole season again and again and again after I got it. Crazy ghood :mvsmile:

Hey I haven’t been here in a while but has anyone heard of Vampire Knight?
It's pretty new it started airing in April, but anyways I am so in love with it so far... I have read the menga and watched the episodes seriously this series has me hooked. So I would highly recommend it to anyone who is asking what they should watch right now lol.
there are only 13 episodes out on youtube or whatever right now but there are like 42 chapters out if you are a manga reader... haha this is totally random of me but I really felt I should get the word out if anyone didn't know about it lol. ^-^

Well code geass has come to an end........so sad. of all scenes in the series, the one at the end was the MOST epic and dramatic of them all. in the end it all went according to plan...eh Lelouch...... What did you think of the end Seed? I must have watched it about 51 times now, lololol and I'm gonna have to make alot of amvs of the end. (Once I learn how to use windows movie maker...)

I've been watching Maria + Holic lately, and I've kept up with the episode releases. It seems promising. However, I've never heard of Asu no Yoichi. I'll check it out now.

Another anime I've been watching is The Tower of Druaga: the Aegis of Uruk.

Plot summary found in AnimeNetwork:
The Summer of "Anu": In a summer once every five years, demons in the mysterious Tower of Druaga lose their powers due to the magic spell cast by a god named "Anu". But truth be told, I think Gantz is one of the best animes <3
