Ikaruga

For those of you who don't know anything about Ikaruga:

It's just another shm'up game on the surface, but underneath that, there's a complexity in the gameplay that rivals a puzzle game: just blowing through the game and trying to survive is great, but the real challenge comes in actually trying to chain throughout the game.

I personally can't even make it past stage 2 normally :( Anyone else play this?

such an old game. but still one of the best in it's genre. i wish i had a gamecube just to play this game. it is really hard, but not hard enough to not get past the first few levels :p
it would be such an awesome PSP port though, that's a good idea actually.

the only way to play that game is on hard mode, if your on hard mode you will see that the bad guys fire back the opposite color of what you killed them with when they explode. also if you need some tips beating it then... always use the opposite color of what they are shooting to shoot them, it does more damage. my brother and i played the co-op like crazy when we heard it was out for download, i couldnt pass up this masterpiece. now if only they would put out Mushihimesama... i would die.
