Possible Wii release date

Interesting article speculating uppon the "hidden release date" embedded in the latest Nintendo press release. :)

no problem :) be on the lookout for preorders.. they're going to fill up real quick and I expect them to hit sometime in August or early Sept.

For those interested, I've been checking this site (http://www.wiishlist.com/) daily. Anyone have any other resources monitoring pre-order status?

Only a few more days until we *MIGHT* know the official Wii release date/price and what bundles there will be. Also more information about the Wii console, perhaps specs, and the controller.
And, we will get all the information about if MP3 will be delayed, and tons of new information about the games coming out.
Only 5 more days untill the Leizpeg Games Convention!!!!

However, nintendo never confirmed that they will give the release date at the con, but it's a possibility.

Still, some fun speculations:

"Roman numeral V=5, so...W is two 5's which is 10, and the i i are both 1's! That's October 11th or 2nd!

Doesn't anyone think that the announcement time of 10:15 is a bit wierd, just speculation but maybe its the launch date? 15th October - 10/15...well its not too far-fetched is it?

Nintendo's conference is slated for 10:15, is this forshadowing?

haha, great speculation. Its october sometime.... will be interesting to see when the official date is. As you said.. either Leizpeg or the Tokyo game show will most likely be the unveiling of the remaining details.
