g'day im mark and i'm from australia.
i am 6' tall and have dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. i have olive skin. i am a person who LOVES to laugh and LOVES to help/make other people laugh. i am a joker 90% of the time with a bit of 20% seriousness (yep thats right i put 110% into my life)!!!
# of things Americans must learn...
1. Australian's aren't pommies (british) we are Australian
2. Koalas do not have any relatives.. so therefore could not be bears... (please stop saying koala bears)
3. Koalas sound like ET from the movie E.T. (wierd but true) oh but they don't speak and no we don't have them as pets... they are a protected species
4. no it isn't a good idea to cuddle a wild koala... they will either run away and if forced to attack you with their climbimg claws which will slice you apart better than a hot knife through butter and could possibly cause you to bleed to death.
5. aussie is spelled aussie but pronounced "auzzie"
6. (this is one 'fact' i found one american to believe while i was playing WoW) in your revelution NO australia did not take part in the battle where u beat the british bcs it is impossible as Australia was formed in 1901 from 6 british colonies but the first fleet landed on australia over 200 years before that (1789 thats where you remember the convicts colonising the land), but we were not australia yet so it was the british that where there... technically... And no even thou we are still in the commonwealth we are simply to lazy to become a republic [i like our flag :)]
7. we do not sit around and drink tea and eat cakes... that is the pommies. we eat meat pies with sauce.
8. "put a shrimp on the barbie" is from a silly 70's ad and we never ever have shrimps or prawns on the barbie. we usually have steak and snags on the barbie with a beer in the hand :P
