I'm pretty sure they did it last season with Gears of War and Rainbow Six Vegas.

Vinx is right. They did it with Gears of War, Rainbow Six Vegas, and Shadowrun last season. They may still pick up Call of Duty 4.

I'm hopefully going to one or two of them this season. Orlando probably, even though it'll be really really hot there in July. :)

If you have a team, you can play. It costs $160 per team (it did last season). You can also just watch if you want. It is free to get in just to spectate.

Sucks that they haven't announced CoD4 as a game for the circuit. (As of yet) In a way tough, it makes sense. Have you guys played CoD4 on LAN? It is sooo dumb. You cant use your custom classes. You'd have to use the 12 or however many classes the game gives you. Weak. I am getting tired of only one event on the West Coast thing. Especially in the South. San Diego? Honestly, bring 'em up to the Bay! Or at least Sacramento. Toronto? I thought Canada had their own events? They also took at Chicago, which always has the biggest turnouts. Hopefully the Playoffs and Championships are in better locations

Not gonna happen. I wanted it to but IW didnt make any settings for LAN. Also it was really tough tp decide on RB6v2. That got lucky to make it in time before the first event. We all took a vote to decide on it and after alot of debating of " this game sucks " or "it wont make it in time" or my fav "I would rather play shadowrun". It didnt matter to me if it had gotten picked or not Halo 3 is the only game thats going to matter year.

Does anyone know if i can take the train from Grand central in NY? If the flight isn't too expensive i'd DEF fly to Orlando and San Diego. Og, this is so irritating! lol

They will require arecall on the game if i am right. Its not so easy that takes awhile to do also it must be tested over and over again so it will be right.

new york is connected with nj' amtrak so i think you would definitely be able to take a train from ny. it probably really cheap to fly to orlando and toronto from CT.

Its really cheap to fly to Orlando from CT, I flew there a few years back to visit relatives and it wasn't too bad(i think i paid $200 round trip) if the prices are still moderate(90% chance) i will be at Orlando bc I am overdue to see my grandma, and meadowland is like an hour and half to 2 hours from me so I may drag along my cousin and show him how a pro-circuit is to con him into trying to go pro with me. I dunno about the other ones though, San Diego is a 50-50. I gotta warn you though I'm shy and don't like big crowds it makes me feel small and lonely :( and is it $160 for the team or per person to play bc I might go FFA at the events?

It is $160 per team, at least as of last season. I'm not sure what FFA's will be if they have them this season.

Also yes the v4 settings will include foundry. At least 2 maps are going to be used for foudry. 4base and 2base. Once we get the spawns woking right then it might go public.

Hey all. This is Killa KC the MLG Halo 3 game tester that creates all the settings and game types.

My girlfriend happens to be a member here and pointed this thread out to me. Legacy is not a ref, a mod, or a game tester. I have never heard of him and he clearly took the information I posted on the mlgpro.com forums a few days ago and then posted it here as if he had some type of "in" with MLG. Also, neutral bomb is not being tested in any way shape or form due to the Halo 3 bomb system.

Watch out for this guy.... I don't even understand why you would lie about something like that? Legacy, you can contact me at killakc@mlgpro.com if you have any concerns.

I kind of wonder that too. Well, I live in Jersey, so Meadolands is close and Toronto is a good 7 and a half hour drive for me. If I wanted to go to Orlando that would be at least a 14 hr drive, so it's easy for me to make those events. I just wish I could go to them all and not break the bank.
