Hey guys, I got a 32" hi def tv on boxing day this year and am using it for my computer 360 and cable. My problem is halo will load up and wont display. I can hear the music and everything but the visual wont work. it seems that halo is the only problem. I am running vista with a 8600gt.

Halo 1 or halo 2?
Its possible that its trying to display in a resolution that your TV can't support, not sure the easiest way to fix it (or where those settings are saved).

my tv can run 1080p. When my computer is running its under WXGA and when it opens halo it changes to svga. It comes up with the initial halo logo screen then goes black then brings me back to the desktop with the game running. I can hear the music i just cant see anything
I can run the game in safe mode and the video mode is just vga
