need a game

i just put some fancy new poo into my computer and want to try out some PC gaming again.
i used to play UT2k4, so i thought i'd start by getting the new UT3.
any other suggestions?
i see most people play CSS, so i'll probably go there since i only really like multiplayer FPS games.

Take UT/Quake, add in some humorous graphics and teamplay, and you'll get Team Fortress 2. If you are looking for a new game to get into thats probably a great one for either just casually having fun with friends or even if you want to get into competition.

Yeah, get CSS and Orange Box (For the TF2 :D ), and CoD4, also maybe try out the battlefields (2, 2142, 3 (coming soon))

i thought about cod:4 because its all i play on the 360, but i figured i'd try to be a little more rounded haha.
im gonna see if i can get css, tf2, and battefield...i think i'd like those.

I can't really tell you what game you should buy because its so subjective but I think you should definitely avoid UT3. Sure the graphics will push your new system harder than anything else but the gameplay is just bad (;P). If you enjoyed the satisfaction of the hitscans in ut2k4 you won't find that in UT3 because of the horrible netcode.
If you can find it for $20 I'd say buy it just so you can look at all the pretty graphics but don't expect to fall in love.
