Xbox 1:
Madden '05 - For me, this was just awesome. Dynasty mode totally pwned in this, with newspapers and everything. Oh, and the gameplay in this one is much better than the next-gen brothers. The next-gen football titles just seem...not cool.
Xbox 360:
Table Tennis - Excellent for when you have friends over. Pick-up and play, tense matches.
What are your picks?

Xbox 360: Table Tennis and Amped 3. I love both these titles, spent quite some time with both.

i really like Amped 3 . . . but i haven't tried any others, so i guess my opinion is kind of dumb, lol

Xbox: NFL 2K5. It was the first 2K football game I bought, and it was amazing. Too bad it was the last one for quite a while.
Xbox 360: NBA 2K6. Great graphics in HD, the best AI I've seen in a basketball game in a long time (not perfect, but good). NBA 2K7 *drool*....

I played Nascar games back when I wasn't a big halo fan. I want to play it again, it was so much fun.

i personally liked madden 04 and 05 and MLB 2k5(too bad there isnt a big online comuunity like there was earlier :( )
I've been wanting to play madden, cause I like football and people say it's good.

None for 360 yet, but THPS Underground for Xbox was fun. My all-time fav. "sports" game was THPS 2 for PS1... That game Pwned.
Srry but I think conventional sports games, ie: football, baseball, etc... are boring and repetitive, and if I had one word to describe any of those games, it would prolly be filtered here on this forum.

To me, when you've played one sports game, you've played them all. The only thing that changes are the rosters and better graphics. As far as gameplay goes, not much changes or can change because once you do change something, it no longer stays true to the original game. One could say the same sort of thing happens for all game types, but sports games are the type of games that rarely if ever change in gameplay or style. This is generally why I avoid them.

No you are pretty much correct, for all major sports games like Baseball, Hockey, Foozball and Basketball all you really get is an updated roster with updated stats and some new polish to the game itself. But the polish doesnt really add much in terms of better graphics or gameplay
Madden is the biggest hoser of them all.
Sports games are normally a hugerip off for the simple fact that they dont have to do much to update the game every year
Which is why I like my tennis games and boxing games......boxing rules house
