A brief history
Many of you will not know me (lol) no but seriously i used to be in the Ih2O division for gears of war. Many of the International people knew me simply because i was in there division however very limited amount of the american side new me. to be completey honest i dont think anyone did. When i first joined around june 2007 i got the feeling this would be the perfect clan for me, with scheduled practise times and sessions, good atmosphere during practise and a very nice social atmosphere. upon taking my scheduled hours for practise i intended to make as many friends here as possible which included from the american side. I must have sent many friend requests with messages to various members only to have them deleted ( yes a message was sent with it ). started gettin the feeling that this clan was American>Uk.
Along with myself we had some very talanted players probably sum of which better then most of the american players. In all honesty i think i played with 1 gears player and that was simply because i happened to stumble across a game with them in. But did i recieve and welcomes or anything from this player. No i got practically blanked, they obviously had no interest in speaken with me but they did with there m8, from then on i lost interest in the american side. I continued to play with the european team Attendin a LAN with them, which even thou wasnt our best time it was still fun.
When it comes down to it the impression i get from this clan is that One side is more important, you recruit as many ppl as u can as its a community based clan but unless there american or maybe pc based european side dont get a look in. You care so much about growing and becoming a bigger community that you forget large areas of the community itself. Do the eu have forums of there own to post tournies and other things? no its overcrowded with so many posts from the american side.
I doubt many of you have realised this but Many of the iH2O and iPMS have left over a period of time, including i believe all of the original founding members from the international side. I hear so much about u saying its a community based clan and that everyone is heard, but its a contradiction in my opinion.
I felt this had to be sed as for a while i believe that the PMS/H2O side has had very limited input in iPMS/iH2O and very limited contact with EU side. You may completey disregard this post, u may get angered by it, you may even realise that what ive said is true. which ever way u look at it my view is the facts speak for them self.
I wont forget my Time here with iPMS and iH2O to name names; corpasp, sylar, notstupid,Darkest,Red Nutty, sanctimonia and of course MINX my ex PMS.....BUT i can forget my time with PMS/H2O

Unfortunately its really based on numbers. You have 1800+ members in the US and less then 100 in Europe. Less then 20 of those are active. From the US we cannot force the Euro players to play together. I have no clue how we can support them any more then we do now. We even support the events in the UK financially. It all comes down to working together and trying to make friends and try to find recruits so you have people to play with.

Oh and the " trying to make friends " part as u can see from my post i did but unfortunately there werent many to be found

We do have a private section just for the internation side, and its once you become a member you have access to that. There we can put dates for events ect. also there are places you can post events in the main forums without being a member, and hopefully if the european members are active enough on the forums they will see that as well. PMS/H2O had supported us with the hotel cost at the last XL event, and we had 22 people going, so that wasnt cheap! Me personally I will accept a friend request as long as its someone I will play with or have played with for a while, our space on the friends list are pretty limited, so you might as well have people that you play with on your friends list. You can't get offended if someone turns down a friend request. If you were still apart of iH2O there would be chances to join practices with the american divisions and will give you that chance to play with others, have fun ect, then add as friends. We can't force people to add you on their FL or to play with you. Just gotta find the right person that you can get along with. I hear it all the time the PMS/H2O don't care about the international side of things, but anytime I ask for help, i have someone there to help me get things figured out. To be honest though, as leader of the International PMS side, I always have help whenever i need it from any of the leaders, and I have never once had someone not help me because i was 'international". They make meetings at times where international people can make them (that would be why the orientations are so early for the americans). Manditory practices for international girls to make practices with american PMS girls so we can all bond and get to know each other (i admit sometimes its hard to work around some practice schedules to do that but its great fun when we work it out). They have paid for shirts, hotel rooms. I just don't see what you want/expect from them??

I have to say... we can't really blame the US part of the clan for our problems. They can't search our more active international people for us, they either have to find their way here themselves or we can search for them ourselves.
I'm not saying it's not a problem, we have lost a lot of members like you said. It's just that when we're so few in IPMS|iH2O, the number of "active" and "casual" members is much more visible. Like if ie. the US divisions has 50 members, 20 active and 30 casual. Then iPMS have 15 members, 5 active and 10 casual.. So of course on a everyday practice schedule the number of people "missing" would be much more visible for iPMS|iH2O. (Hope I made sense of what I was trying to say).
Maybe there are more active gamer girls in US then in Europe, I dunno..
I just mean that as a separate division the US people are not responsible for us. Like mentioned by others, they payed for XL and that is really all the help we can ask, and if I ever need help with clan stuff I have been getting help from all sides of the US PMS AND H2O (Catalina ftw! :D )
So I don't have a bad reception of the US PMS and H2O like you mentioned. I have gotten FR from people who have seen me on the forums and people accepting mine, and meet a lot of super people.
Also, like Krystal mentioned we do have our own sub-forums (even though they might be hard to locate :p )

also people leaving iPMS/iH2O has nothing to do with us being "ignored" by the PMS H2O members..its just people that want to do their own thing, not have scheduled practices, wants to play any game they want and not stick to just one division, ect. Just because you left for that reason doesnt mean everyone left for that reason. I just know people just move on to other things, and the "clan" thing just isnt for them. I dont think it has anything to do with the americans being "mean" to us. :P (i'm not trying to sound mean....i'm saying this in my sweetest voice possible)

They left on their own free will and reasons that ar there own. I have a lot of friends on european side....my PMS girl is from England....heck I used to go to their Gears practice everyday...and from what I saw a lot of the ppl that left were trouble makers...as far as the big names again they had their reasons....whether it be thinking it was time to move on.......too much stress. Look at it liek this being a leader is tough.....even if u just run a team. I deal with whatever stress by poking fun at things or acting silly some ppl would rather not deal with it.Theres been a few times Im like forget it im not gonna deal with drama or craziness anymore.....but I stay because PMS H2O has become like a second family to me and I love everyone here american and international. It really sounds like ure trying to shift blame which is not fair and I respect ure opinion but theres a lot more to everything than meets the eye. And having spent a lot of time with the International division and have a different opinion. Personally Im proud of our efforts both domestic and international...and those who have stuck it out on both sides deserve a lot of Kudos!!!

I agree with Cajun, and I am very close with Sylar, Corp, and Notstupid. They have their reasons for leaving, what you're talking about could be what they felt, but I know its not the REASON they left. I know they just wanted to move on, not to have any rules/regs to follow, had personal things going on that made them want to leave...but hey, they have access to this, so they can post their own feelings on it if they wanted too. Maybe i'm wrong, but I know life and stress are big keys for people leaving.

Hey,
Yeah we basically moved on because of rules and regulations that had to be inforced, and we just couldn't keep up with it.. we also want to be able to play whatever we want whenever we want at whatever time, cause thats just the way our life styles fit in... Some of us have families etc So those are the main reasons as well as personal reasons... but its not really anything to do with PMS/H2O. I still enjoy being part of the community and will help where ever possible.
Anyway, i hope that clears a few things up.
Have fun...

I know i didnt leave because of the lack of us support. I left due to the feeling of being in a community with even players new to the game not a competitive pro team which is where i wanted to be, and also 2 hours of practice mon to fri was tiring and took the fun out of the game plus a few other things. I made alot of friends in my time with pms.
I must admit support from the us side with regards to tournys had improved, the first XL i went to had little funding.....i mean all we got was t shirts, its nice to see that more funding was put into the most recent XL.
I think what infernal is trying to say is that he feels iPMS/iH2O are so far split from PMS/H2O with regards to them being divided into two seperate divisions, we cant really play together because of the "LAG" issues although you get people like Krystal that actually deal with the lag and play with it. I think that maybe if things were more mixed then that would be better i mean going to a tourny and having a few amazing american players would be really impressive and would give PMS/H2O great publicity plus there would be more players to make a deadly team!
