I would have to say Sean Connery in the Hunt for Red October

Sandra Bullock, I loved her in Practical Magic

Actor, probably Johnny Depp. He does an amazing job in almost every single movie he's in, and being in several of Tim Burton's movies doesn't hurt. Oh, and Bill Murray is an excellent actor as well.

I'm actually having a harder time with actress, as there aren't that many that comes to mind instantly, atleast not as the ultimate actress. Uma Thurman is pretty good, and so is Scarlet Johansson. Oh, and Jessica Alba, for no other reason than Sin City ;)
