I use IE7 tabbed browsing. I have six pages that I use as home pages; PMS is one. I leave my PC and my browser up pretty much 24/7. It seems like frequently when I try to come to this website, my browser crashes and restarts. This doesn't seem to happen with any of the other websites that I view regularly. It happened again just a minute ago, and the info cloud said it was a problem with Flash. I guess the emoticons are flash? Anyway this isn't the only site I browse that uses flash, and none of the others crash on me. Any suggestions? This problem has made me come here less frequently.

Our pages itself shouldn't be doing anything like that, the few times i've used IE7 i haven't had any trouble at all. Personally I'd suggest switching to firefox anyway because its a better browser lol, but if you're a die-hard IE fan...hm....i'm not sure. Is it only this page or does it do it on other websites too?

It's just this one. I have Firefox, but I prefer the multiple home page feature in IE7.

Well, as Rip said, I would switch to firefox if you can. You can do everything in Firefox that you can in IE7. You can force it to open multiple tabs on startup ("multiple home pages", as you called it) quite easily.

Oh, and opening up a browser, leaving it, and your computer, on and running constantly will do some interesting things to your computer over time. It is good to restart it (hard restart, meaning turn off for a minute or two, and booting it back up) now and then, as caches will get full otherwise, and crap starts to go askew.

If you ever need any help with FireFox, just ask me, I am a self-professed FireFox addict, and I love converting people. :P

I usually shut the PC down about once a week, just for that reason.

I don't know, it's a weird issue. It doesn't happen on my work PC, but it runs IE6. I used to have this problem with random pages until they did an update, and now it only happens on this website.

I use IE7 and have CEVO Support, CEVO Admin Login, Yahoo, XM Radio, and PMS|H2O Forums as my home pages. I've never had a single crash. The one time IE7 has crashed in this computer's history was kind of my fault, other than that I've never had a crash.

There is a flash Zazzle ad at the bottom of the forums. That possibly could be the reason why Flash is crashing.
