I've been a bit empty lately with ideas for myself and just practice in general. But after my Karma sig, I've found something. I've decided to do a series of sigs, revolving around the Hinduism concept of salvation, which can be achieved by various paths; those being Karma (selfless action), Bhakti(devotional service), Jnana(enlightenment, knowledge), Raja(meditation), and finally belief in God(Ishvara). While I'm undecided if I will do the 'belief in God' as a sig, here is the next of the first 4.

And as an added lesson in theology (since I didn't have this planned before, I can give it now), Karma is selfless action. An action taken for personal profit translates into bad karma, which when accumulated, results in reincarnation, where a person has another life to make up for past life sins. Good karma from actions that don't result in personal profit (material or statuswise or whatever) does not leave the residue that accumulates, so that when a person dies without bad karma, instead of being reincarnated, they are taken out of the cycle and enter a state of nirvana. The theology of Hinduism is be taken out of the cycle of rebirth and reincarnation by having overall good karma.
While my ideas of God and religion are very different from Hinduism (it's kinda hard to explain my beliefs in text), this is an interesting concept for me and I feel no shame in displaying these piecese for their real meanings. So that's it for now! Expect the next 2 over the next couple of days :D they will be my Hindu series of sigs ;) hehe this is the first time I've ever done sigs with connections....
