I decided to make this thread so that if anyone has a certain new marketplace item (demo, trailer, whatever) they'd like to discuss, they could put it here instead of having a million different topics about it. I'll add a few to start off, seeing as new stuff just came out :)

Halo 3: In The Beginning

An in depth look at the makings of the Halo 3 announcement trailer, and it is actually quite informative. I can now play the chords at the beginning of the trailer (piano), and they share a lot of nice information about storyline (nothing major, pretty much common knowledge) and point out some details you might have missed. And, it's pretty much all ingame graphics, so now we have some idea of what Halo 3 will look like. It also gives you a look on where Bungie is on the devlopment, cause I saw some animators screens and the models looked pretty detailed on some occasions.

Mass Effect: E3 Demo Walkthrough

This is basically the E3 demo accompanied with narration. When I saw demo, I mean demonstration, not playable, sorry if I got your hopes up. This game is looking very slick and will probably break the paradigm of what we believe is possible in an RPG. Very slick indeed.

LOTR:BFME2 Online Demo

Despite the name, the demo of Lord of the Rings: Battle For Middle Earth 2 actually includes a nice tutorial and one single player level alongside the online demo. I got to test it out, and I've got to say it is quite possibly the best RTS on a console, though admittedly that's not a difficult title to attain given how bad most console RTS's are. Fun game, and the musical score, as well as the sight of a bunch of goblins/dragons/spiders/trolls/giants under your command is quite awesome.

ill have to get that halo3 beginning thing.
mass effect looks like an awesome game im looking forward to it.
and LOTR looks terrible, in my opinion RTS's should not leave the PC realm. they were put on PC first for a reason, because the only sensible way to play them is on the PC.

I believe the halo 3 thing has been on bungie's site for a while now, but i'll be checking it out to see if its the same thing.
The madden 2k7 demo is also up, not much into the franchise, but i know a few of my friends will want to see it.

well Sky, you've got to understand my computer is like the one-legged 89 year old hobo of the computing world, so LOTR:BFME2 is an alternative for people like me without the money to upgrade my PC (or buy a new one, as will be the case cause upgrading my current comp would be like buying a brand new door for a shoddy cabin, it'd be a nice door, but it'd still be a shoddy cabin).
