This happened almost a year ago now.. but it affects me as much today as it did when it happened.

I watched a plane fall short of the runway, and both auxiliary fuel tanks explode, engulfing the pilot and plane in a giant column of flame. His seat ejector seat caught fire, ignited the boosters, and shot him about 10 feet out of the plane.. a force comparable to the velocity of the shrapnel flung when a grenade goes off.

The pilot walked out of it due to the adrenaline pumping through his body at the time, but lost the majority of his skin, thus meaning it was like watching a person with fully red and black skin walking.. and then collapsing on the ground.
He lived.

The saddest part?
He lived.

You may ask, 'how is this the saddest part?'. The answer is both simple, and cruel.
He will never fly again.

If he does ever fly again, it most likely won't be military. He was to complete his first cross country solo with that type of aircraft that day.. a single engine fighter. He was to graduate in a week and go to active duty.
Now, obviously it is clear that I am not the one having the bad week here.. but seeing someones dreams be crushed like this, is the most depressing thing that can ever happen to someone.

Never believe you deserve something more than someone else. Never be jealous of what you haven't got, but rather be thankful for what you have. Because in a matter of seconds..

You could lose it all.

Um...My week has been pretty bad but not that bad...I just lost my grandfather, though he has been suffering for a while. I just hope he's happy now.

My week has been pretty stressful, along with my friends. A good friend to everyone, Steven B. died in a car crash Friday. I won't be attending his wake today because i can't handle those.

But in terms of Worst my best friend is. She lost Steve, a few weeks a ago her ex bf murdered someone and a few months ago her good friend died from an overdose. It's a battle for her, but she'll always overcome it. On top of that her love life isn't treating her well, but she has us. We care for her a lot.

I would say my sister had the worst week. lol. Her car got broken into there was glass everywhere, her Ipod was stolen, and she got into 3 car accidents. This was all over a 2 day period. Not to mention she got pulled over too.

I had 2 teeth pulled, got stitches in my gums, and the pain meds they gave me were childrens tylenol...So yeah, big mistake...i finally got some good pain meds after about 4 hours of hell...And even then, Vicodin didn't help me at all...So yeah..bad week.
