Battlefield 2: Armored Fury

Just loaded this booster pack today and boy is it sweet. A lot of the new maps are U.S. areas, like Delaware Bay. No other computer game has included maps from U.S. soil since no battles have been fought here since the Civil War. The map is key in modern warfare as it has air support at the edge of a highway clover junction. The choppers are only transport choppers though so air support is minimal unless you are in a jet but you still only have 4 bombs. With the newest patch and all its commander splendor, this booster pack proves to be the best of the three dues to the addition of many more maps. Euro and Special Forces were okay booster packs but I think Armored Fury tops the ranks.

Armor Tactics:

I watched my boyfriend play this pack (he does all the testing before we buy) and I say some awesome armor tactics. Three tanks roll up to take a flag and position themselves in a triangle formation around the flag. Each driver is an engineer so no matter how many anti-tank round you plug in on tank, his homie next to him repairs him. Then, the rest of the squad rides around in buggy's picking off the infantry hiding or taking shots at the tanks. And to top it all off, the commander drops a supply crate in the middle of the formation.

Objective captured and opposing team pummeled.

Is this for the PC version of Battlefield 2?

Yes of course. PC always gets the worst of stuff or none at all but I am glad they made all the packs for PC.

yeh i am from a clan where BF2 is one of the major PC games we play. alkot of members have downloaded it and say its the only add-on they like... (euro forces and special forces sucked|) i personally haven't downloaded and due to some circumstances cannot download it personally (i have to wait to see if it comes out in the shops), but from the review i have had from my friends from Stargate Command clan it is a must buy and the ONLY expansion that is good!

Well my radiator pumps radiator fluid instead of water so it is non corrosive even if i did spring a leak. I pressure tested it for weeks before adding any components. As long as you got a good pump and all your clamps in place correctly, you shouldn't have a problem and it runs really quiet.

yeah. i waited to install all the patches until the finally got it right so i just patched with 1.3 a few weeks ago.

so far with the 1.3 patch and armored fury, no crashing. well, until i start overclocking my 5500............lmao

the PC is sooo much better, and plus the PC version has freakin planes, the 360 only has helicopters. :(

i only use torrents when i want to see if something is worth my dollar. i buy everything. but i also want to try it out first. i wish i would have done that with guild wars. could have gotten WoW instead.

well it could be worse you could be waiting for updates for SWBF2 I got tired of waiting and tryed the demo for BF2 and got sucked right in i have yet to play SWBF2 in months even with all the mods for it...lol

I took the liberty of being proactive and started a BF2 server. 32 player but i might downgrade until there is a following. i am having some issues with management but the server is solely sponsored by myself so as of now, the only donation needed is your time to play.

that would be sweet to have a BF2 server on the east coast. me and the wife both play BF2 and BF2SF. my only question is will it be a ranked server?

no it wont be ranked. i think you asked me that in the other thread??? not sure but for now, since a lot of people are not familiar with the game, i am going to run it unranked. i will run 2 servers, ranked and unranked eventually though.
