As you may know, the newest Need for Speed, titled ProStreet, is out and has been for a week. When l first picked it up, l was all excited to play it, but when l popped it in......CRASH COURSE!!!! Well, not really, but it was different than l had expected. lt just goes to show that you can't always think the demo is what it's going to be. Anyway, the Drag racing's great, if you can control your car. My Toyota Supra, 1,048hp with about 665lbs-ft of torque, does a wheelie from the start. This isn't a problem, until l miss a shift. Usually, l don't touch the steering wheel, but sometimes it tends to hit the wall anyway. it's better than my 350Z, which, even though it had half the horses, it would do a wheelie down the ENTIRE quarter mile track, and l'd sometimes would total the car doing so. Now the grip, with my newly 915hp Lamborghini Murcielago LP640, is great!!!! l love how this car handles turns, and yet still can keep its speed. The Skyline R34 was great until l had to take a turn, and at 892hp, it wasn't easy. The Nissan GT-R in that game....HA!!!!!! HAHA!!!!!!! No wonder they're not calling it a Skyline!!!! Yea, for me, it was that bad. The speed challenges vary, depending if you have a good car or not. The drifting.....:cussing: what type of.....yea, l guess you know what l wanna put here....is that?!!! Maybe it's because my car isn't very high on power, or anything else for that matter, but it's like Forumla D on G4. lt's great and all, but you go from full tracks to this?!!!! And the handling!!!! ls it really THIS DAMN HARD TO SWITCH DIRECTIONS?!!!! IT WAS EASIER IN FORZA!!!!! Really, l don't think this is the best NFS, that title goes to Most Wanted in my opinion, but is it total crap? No. ls it good? l think so. ls it great? Maybe when l get deeper into it. ls it the best? HA!!!!!!!
Is there anyone else playing this game, or did people skip it? lf you skipped it, it was probably for a good reason, and l think you'd have more fun on the old ones like Most Wanted and Undergroud 2 (l miss neon lights!!!), but l'm liking it so far......keywords: SO FAR......

I was planning on getting this, but the day i went to the store to buy a game... I was planning on getting CoD4, but they didn't have it yet... and I had my mind bent on getting a new game that day.. I got Juiced 2 instead. So nope, not gonna be getting NFSPS anytime soon.

l had Juiced 2, but l think this is better. l actually figured out how to drift....somewhat. The trick is to let off the gas, and it'll turn for you, then hold it again.....

I didn't hear too many good things about it. I'm more of a midnight club fan, so I will be waiting for that to come out next year.

I wasn't very pleased with the demo. It just didn't feel like NFS.

My favorite NFS was Most Wanted. l think EA's losing steam with the NFS series.

Well Im glad it's not street racing anymore. Seriously getting chased by cops is friggin annoying..... but I do miss free roam.....

Getting chased by the cops was fun, especially when you figured out their patern, which was come in patterns, back off, come in paterns, back off, spike strip, helicopter....oh wait, that wasn't in Carbon....well, anyway, it would be nice to have you choose between track and street racing. Like, have track be legal, free roam, but less money, street racing illegal (DUH!!!), get caught ONCE and lose it all, but worth more money, or both, having to run a tight shedule, being caught street racing you lose EVERYTHING, track license, cars, money, EVERYTHING, basically having double the consequences.......hmm.......you know what? nvm that. l'll use that for my own idea

I tend to only play nfs because of the cars, the racing is never difficult and it gets dull after a short while.
They took cops out so prostreet is dull and I haven't put it back in since my Zonda started doing 1/4 drags and 5.9 seconds. It does a wheelie nearly the entire way down unless I fix the body kit back down to default. I tried the GT-R and I know what you mean, I figured it'd be great for Grip but it was horrid. I now us a Evo for grip races and Lambo for Speed races. I haven't touched this game in a few days though, I knew it wouldn't have free roam etc when I got it; but I figured it'd be more fun then it actually was.
