Well appearently southpaw knights will remain my clan in all games but that doesn't mean that there shouldn't be a place anyone who's inturested in playing however they please (let's face it gaming's not cheap and i for 1 EXPECT to be able to talor EVERY
FUNCTION on every button or stick to my personal taste) in games could come to read about how others,like myself,have done exactly that.

Default's not the only way to play there's also : legacy and southpaw,of corse i use southpaw.

Developers should be held accountable for not including the basic essentialls:the ability to play said game without being shoehorned into an un-naturial play style.

I recieved king kong back in dec,for christmas,no less and didn't play it until almost april-of the NEXT YEAR!!!! UNEXCUSABLE. Then for it's next scam ubisoft released
an unplayable graw 4 MONTHS LATE! Worst yet was that graw xb1 has southpaw but coming in late all that was done to the 360 version was the removal of nesasary
control layouts.

Without my modded pads i'd STILL not be able to play these games even now in almost august plus bf:mc,the outfit,tomb raider and enless the developers are held acountable it will get steadaly worse-to add insult to injury no 1 seems to care
about whether you can actuially play that $60 game that's now an expensive paperweight!

TRUELY a SAD state of affars for the gaming industry.

He's basically saying that he's left handed, and wants MicroSoft to make controllers already formatted for people that are left handed, not only have the SouthPaw options in games, like on Halo...

Yeah. It confused me too. Now that Prosu explained it I understand and I have sympathy for him. My mom and sister are left handed and even though they don't play video games, it might be a bit difficult for them to if they did. What if you're ambidextrious?

Well i have 4 custom RE-WIRED 360 pads (2 wired/2wireless) and cosmeticlly they appear to be normal pads........appearances can be deciving.

My left stick functions as my right stick,d-pad has become a,b,x and y,right stick functions as my left stick and my face buttons have become my d-pad!!!!
It wasn't cheap as i bought the modder a premium 360 as payment to mod my 4 pads and no 1 should have to go to these means simply to play said games.

Halo only gives us 50% southpaw because the action buttons are still set in their default set-up meaning i have to cross my left hand over my right to push a button
which is why i swapped both of them to get 100 % southpaw...now all i need do is drop my hand from freelook to the d-pad and back up much much inproved.

EVERYONE should care about being able to map every function to any button for your own personal layout-it's much bigger than just default or southpaw or legacy-WE ALL have a right to custimize our layouts to a tee.

haha, girls will be girls. quintison does like controllers though. why dont you just make your own, you know all the technical stuff and whatnot

Soddering's not my strong suite that's why i had some1 else do it and because i haven't met him i had extra's made....if 1 crap's out i still have 3 spares.

After they all came back modded i knew the modder was a great guy but not upon first inspection-frankly i didn't know what to think but all worked out in the end.

The people i'm most infuriorated with are microsoft themselves because i know they could've simply put a controlls tab under console settings on our dashboards that would allow full custimization of every game genere after you talored things to suite you then save to your profile/tag which every game would manditorlly check upon boot-up/log in to live. Use default settings fine use custom layouts the games would be required to apply our settings aliviating the un-playable games problem/need to spend over $100 to get a workable pad.

What they delivered was a system that overheated,at first,and game defaults that mean nothing enless the game's programmed for the settings...LAUGHABLE.

So far next gen only means an overhaul on the usuial suspects : live,graphics,sound,
refining the controller-s and xbla sadly revolutinary stuff like being able to set up
all shooters the same way-your way wasn't adressed.

I wish i knew when the fall update was being released and what was going into it...
hopefully they'll ,at least,correct the game as master and system as slave to
system as master and game as slave-while not full custimization it'd be a start.

Also if people set movement as right stick the face buttons should autimaticlly be re-mapped to the d-pad and d-pad to the face buttons.(a-down,b-right,y-up and x-left)Reverse for d-pad/face buttons.

As 1 who's pads are laid out that way i'll certify that not needing to be a contorcinest is a great thing.

What's with halo 1,2 when you select southpaw they keep crouch and zoom at default settings-imagine moving and clicking to crouch only to zoom in and freelooking and clicking to zoom but crouching...most southpaw players must suffer this pain. I don't because when my 360 pads were altered i had both sticks,clicks,face buttons and d-pad all swapped it's a 100% mirror default.

I left triggers and bumpers alone as diffrent games have unique functions that swapping those would most certanly screw up,like driving games.
Imagine breaking when pulling the gas trigger and vice versa-i don't recomend
swapping the secondary buttons as it CAN'T be UNDONE and i know pgr 3 would be an unplayable mess,might be good on shooters but bad on other games.

Most games allow you to move secondary functions anyway.

How would any of you guys like to spend $400+ on 360 and games only to discover some of em are unplayable...cough...ubisoft....cough and investing $400+20 s/h
to get 4 360 pads modded (money well spent) so you can actuially PLAY your games....i bet you'd be annoyed at microsoft,ubi and ea as well because each has let you down. Just imagine-even if you only had 1 pad modded that's still over $100 that you could've had to spend on more games if every1 took responsability
and gave us completely customizable games.....oh well i guess that's $460
($y$tem+tax and $/h) that i won't be able to u$e to buy game$ really that'$
only their lo$$ not mine!!!!! Maybee they'll learn,i can only hope...not every1 can spend $100+ on a necasary mod just to play a game.
