I was playing CoD 4 earlier today and then got a message saying that I needed tho have an active network connection to play online. Since then I haven't been able to connect to play. My internet and everything else is working fine, is this a problem on my end or something with the Live/CoD?

Check the connection in the back of your 360, Run a Test Connection on your 360, if you have a Router check the 360's connection to the Router, do these things and if the problem persists come back with the results.
