Hello everyone.
I am Raiden47. Otherwise known as Sir. Raiden (in the Battlefield series), Iku, Ikuorai, and a few other names which I'm sure you'll figure out in the future.
I suppose it is only appropriate to start off with my Halo community roots.. I started playing Halo mid 2002, and began to love the game to the point of addiction. I joined up on Bnet, HBO, HIH, etc. I was not too well known for the first half of my existence in the community (I was around 13 years of age at the time, so go figure), but that all changed over time. Upon the launch of ILoveBees, I joined unFiction (forum), and began to frequent the IBO (irc.bungie.org) IRC network. Since the day I joined IBO, I have always felt at home there. I hang out with everyone in the Halo community, famous, not famous, people I don't even know.. it's all about Halo!
I came to this site after trying to figure out which PMS member it was I had played with a few people from HBO, during the Friends and Family Beta. LacrimosaX, Hawaiianpig, Cow ,and myself(Raiden47) were playing a game on Snowbound (Team Slayer in MM of course) and were matched up against 4 PMS members. I had seen a TON of PMS members around the F&F Beta, but there was one member with a name quite similar to Cow's.. something to do with cows... If you are a PMS member who played in the F&F Beta, with a name consisting of something "moo" or "cow", please tell me! :P
I am into pretty much every genre of gaming... FPS (or other shooter types), RTS, and MMO's being probably my main 3. I've been gaming since the ripe age of.. 3? I think? I got into Team Fortress Classic, which was my first "true" multiplayer game, and it all took off from there.
Currently I am playing Halo 3, Tabula Rasa (closed and open betas, fullgame), Team Fortress 2, Crysis, COD4, and an undisclosed EA project.
I think that is enough for now, considering I went way over what I had hoped to limit myself to. :nono:
edit: And.. just realized I forgot to mention anything about myself other than gaming;
I am from Sask, Canada. I am currently 17 years old, in my final year of Highschool.
I am currently training with the RCAF (Royal Canadian Air Force) and RCAC to become a fighter pilot down the line. Don't hesitate to ask me about pretty much anything gaming, flying, etc. Chances are I'll have an answer. :)
