So why are you choosing to go with a windows mobile device this time? If you are using this with any kind of work/exchange email account as a priority than no doubt the blackberrys are the way to go, plus Verizon is launching its own Blackberry Pearl in November (finally)! If you are looking for something to have a bit more PDA useability and microsoft/windows compatability then I could see why you would want a windows phone. It definitely is nice to have access to all the windows mobile programs available, not to mention the mobile office programs of course. At the same time the performance is definitely going to be slower, will eat up more battery time (especially the more applications you decide to run, and/or bluetooth/wifi etc..) and probably more bulky than the Pearl.

If you want to go windows mobile and with verizon I would suggest:

I had a RAZR before I got my Treo. It was kinda slow, and it broke way too easy. The sound quality wasnt bad tho.

well cingular decided they were now going to replace my phone with a flip phone for what ever reason so im going to get the samsung sch i76o now because i like the offset dpad and the out side numbers. but i would of gotten another blackberry if i didn't want to have a camera and for some reason the xv6700 is more expensive than the sch-i760 and the samsung comes with 2 battery's

Carrier is a term used for wireless phone companies in the US. A lot of very nice phones here are restricted to certain companies (iPhone - ATT, Wing-T-Mobile, enV-Verizon, many more).

i have an LG phone and they are durable..but i was thinking of getting the i760...just because im a big guy and the treo and blackberry's are too small for my fingers.

I had a Treo for a while and was very happy with it. I didn't find the key size to be a problem, even though I worried about it at first as well. Of course, Alltel's coverage in my area was really bad so I switched over to AT&T who do much better here.

twisted i like the i760 but it doesn't come with any of the windows live mobile stuff i had to go find them but its great phone/pda the cameras is pretty good too

I have a Treo 700wx ... it's nice, the boyfriend has a Treo with Palm on it. I think my next phone will have the Palm software. Both are phones can do basically the same thing, both can open Office documents, both can run messenger and download mail, surf the web, calender, contacts etc. Except his just seems to be more streamlined. The menus are easier to navigate, his text messages are threaded, his phone doesn't lock-up or lag like mine. When he goes back to a menu his phone closes that document, where as mine keeps it running in the background which eats up memory.

The only thing my phone seems to do better is link up with Sync in our car. While I experience no problems with making calls using Sync, he has to start the call with his phone, then Sync picks up that he is making a call.

I still think I'll get a Palm OS phone as my next phone.

that video didn't tell me too much about why the phone is awesome.... she showed a lot of things that you expect from a phone like that, not much more. What is the internet browsing like? WHAT KIND OF GAMES DOES IT HAVE? hahaha, but seriously, the fact that it has a keyboard, camera, wi-fi, and email is not going to make me buy that phone.

Plus, it doesn't have GPS, ALL helio phones have that. It's SO convenient to be out and trying to figure out how to get somewhere and google map it from your phone. My husband has a helio and it's SO worth it just for that. It knows exactly where you are and directs you from there. I'm going to hold out as long as i can to get a really nice phone, until my piece of crap falls apart, and the prices drop on expensive phones.
