Pretentious smiles have faded,
Each raw emotion shows,
Screams are brimming inside
But the silence only grows.

Reflections of a forgotten past,
Regret in a future, so bleak
This broken emptiness taking toll
As tear drops mask her cheek.

They’re coinciding with the rain
That falls from midnight sky
Witnessing this shattered angel
As loneliness watches her cry.

Everyday she more than struggles
But this mask is all they perceive
Constricted in this shameful soul
It gets harder to willingly breathe.

Bleeding tear drops falling down,
As her fingers touch the glass
She waits for an angel to match the prints
As the minutes come and pass

But still nobody reaching back
Just patterned glass from rain
As an icy tear dies on her lips
She lowers her hand in vain

She sits in silence upon her bed
Awaiting her life to leave
With nobody reaching out to her,
It gets harder and harder to breathe.

Nice poem?

It sounds sad that nobody would go to her in her time of need and it sounded as if the auther was trying to write a break up poem. It sounds weird i know but if u think of all the words and reread the poem u get a feeling dispare and lonliness. I think it sounds like a friendship and family has cast her out of their lives and forgotten about her. It' nice.

Nice poem.:)
