I'm curious what people prefer, first person shooters or third person shooters. I for one was a hardcore GRAW2 player up until there wasn't much competition. I prefer the third person shooters, I'm not sure why though :D.

First-person shooters. I've always loved them... :)
3rd person shooters bother me.

if its a good tps then its fine.
ex: ghost recon 2 - ghost recon: advanced warfighter 2, socom 2.
some games make it crap.. but its a nice change from all the 32948029384092 fps titles coming out per week.

Anyone remember Brute Force? It's an older 3PS for the original Xbox, very amazing game. I loved the storyline, squad combat, everything about it.
Hawk and her psiblade ****, omigawd was she amazing :D.

I play both, but as of late I seem to enjoy FPSs more. BioShock or H3 anyone? Though to be fair I haven't played any "new" 3PSs as of late.

Bioshock was fun, but its release was kind of bad. I played about 1/4 of the way through it then H3 launched and I was like, "HALO 3 HALO 3" and I haven't touched another game since...:\.

I grew up on FPS games like Doom and Half Life, I still love them just as much.

I have to admit that I'm a bigger fan of FPS, but there have been several good TPS.

I would go with FPS seeing as I played back in the day with UT and HL, but recently (i,e the 360's release) I've gotten into 3PS, I really liked GRAW thats what really got me into 3PS and GoW was okay (please don't hate me lol) and I haven't had time or funding to get GRAW2 or Rainbow 6: LV even though I love the series :(
