yeah thats gunna be a good game at MLG's. just like star craft and such. I can't wait. the graphics are awesome

lol no this game won't get competitive to MLG.
for a console RTS it looks pretty good, i'll most definitely be purchasing it
Cant wait its gonna take my command and conquer and take its place!

I would certainly hope not.
Just the idea of being able to orbitally bombard a covenant stronghold using the MAC Cannons gives me the chills <3.

Like what? I'll admit, Starcraft II looks much better than Halo Wars, but still. I can't name many RTS games that look better.

then you aren't an avid RTS gamer. supreme commander to name one is by far way better than halo wars. RTS games weren't made for consoles. it just isn't that fun. you have to dumb everything down to fit any type of good gameplay in there. if halo wars was made for windows vista games then it could possibly be very good. but otherwise it's gonna be bleh

RTS games were originally made for PCs sure, but that's why Halo Wars is unique. It was ORIGINALLY DESIGNED for the console gaming, thus the controls will be easier and not be hectic. Granted you won't be able to use macros, but that isn't a big deal when NO ONE else can either.
I think it'll be good, personally.
TO be honest I wasn't a huge fan of Command and Conquer 3 on the 360 at first cause its mainly a computer game.But I was surprised on how good it was Halo wars is an RTS and I Love RTS games so this one will be purchased by me no matter if it sucks or not

I'm defenitly going to purchase it for the simple fact that I love the Halo universe. Halo Wars takes place just after the destruction of Harvest and our first contact with the Covenant, right?

I think I am too, but a friend brought up the fact that you may be able to use SPARTANs in it? If that's so then I think it takes place sometime after the Harvest situation? Possibly slightly before Reach is taken.

I am definatley picking up this one. Command & Conquer for the 360 was the first RTS game I ever played and I thought it was pretty fun. I think the story for Halo Wars will be interesting since it takes place before the first Halo game and it's supposed to be when the UNSC first made contact with the Covenant.

Company of Heroes is another one.
Well, Company of Heroes pretty much trashes every other RTS in visuals anyway.
Starcraft 2 will be the rts that will be kicking ass on the PC while Halo Wars for the 360 will be kicking ass So 2 great RTS games coming out for your pleasure in 08
they both had hands on videos to promote so I see demos coming out real soon
