i'm actually curious I want to start doing them. Also I can't really find a good place to find an original cube that isn't like hard to twist and what not.

so if you have one where did you get yours?

This won't be any help since the last time I messed with a rubics cube is somewhat over 15 years ago. Sounds like fun to have one all over again though that's for sure.

Stores like target and kmart have them - however its sometimes hit and miss.
Unfortunately getting a cube that isn't tough to turn is a different story. Most of the time you have to put a lubricant in it, like silicone spray or petroleum jelly. You basically pop out a piece, spray with silicone spray or put in the petroleum jelly, put the piece back in, then twist it a lot, and it losens up. I'm on my....3rd or 4th cube, can't remember. Still bring it to events because people seem to enjoy watching me solve them it.

We never had our official race punkess!
And just cause you got lucky once doesn't mean you'd ever be able to win again ;)

But i'm glad I can be blamed for you learning to cube, I will admit I'm amazed how quickly you picked it up :p

I wouldn't know madness, I didn't teach her at all how to cube, she learned it on her own. I may claim inspiration for people wanting to learn it, but thats about it.
And she didn't teach me quake either - And i def am not pwnz at the game or close to it lol. Good players regularly would wreck me.

I do the last 8 or 10 moves without looking, freaks people out sometimes. Mostly it takes me about 1 min to solve the whole thing, I can also do some patterns without looking from a solved cube. Fun stuff.
