Brazil did prety good today vs. Croacia. I do must say that they could have played a little better, or people where expecting a little better performance, but also, evrery one should remember that Croacia is one of the best teams out there...

My heart is set on Mexico, and I will prolly sound like a wimp, but I cried Sunday on that 3-1 win vs. Iran.

The USA has a very good team, the played one of the team who will prolly win the CUP, but if they get back into the game they have a chance to qualify to the second round.

The Italians scored a goal, and then the U.S scored a goal off of an Italian player. Then 2 guys from the U.S got red cards, and one was really stupid, for a sliding tackle. Basically they were like the best two players. So now US had 9. One of Italy's better players also got a red card, so it was 10 vs. 9.

In the 70th minute or so, the US would have scored a goal, but a man who was not in play was offside and it was taken away, so the match resulted in a 1-1 tie.

C'mon gimme a break, USA couldn't even score their own goal, Admitted they played good,and italy didn't play like they should have, but USA is still years off in being able to beat Italy. The truth, USA just doesn't have what it takes to actually beat a team like italy.

hey guys i'm back after a 2 days of injury from my club football game where i recieved a potentially serious head injury.. but i am very fortunate it has not cracked my skull...

what happend is that i was right side fullback and i was heading the ball aweay from in front of our goals to a fellow full back to kick it out of our area.. but what i didn't relise that an opposistion striker was running to the ball at a 90* angle to me and was sprinting and put full power into his head to try and score a goal... i was a little bit quick for him and got the ball away only to have the opposition striker to head the right borw on MY HEAD at full power.... i automatically had a MASSIVE egg on my right brow....as soon as the ref took one look at me he said quote "I want him off the field NOW" LOL... i got to the hospital 30 mins later..but i didn't black out or anything... but it hurt like %$^$&#^#^.


but i look like quasimodo the bell ringer from notre dame hehe i have a massive swelling on my right brow... the swelling has gone down by about 3/4 and now no longer looks like an egg but a massive mlump.. i'll try and figure out how to take photos with my new webcam... or i'll take a short clip ...not for those who are weak in the belly... (the first being a red card to an italian defender.. but we didnt get a penalty kick did we?) where our defener was laying on the ground not moving and the italian player on purposly ran over him and tripped over the guy laying on the ground.. the ref said it was a foul.. in the boxx.... what BULLFunnyBunnyFunnyBunnyFunnyBunnyFunnyBunny.... full time score australia 0 italy 1.... that 1 goal was made at the very last second of the game.... :mad: grats to totti but i am not very happy with FIFA for ghiving australia games fauly referees.... although this one was the best opne we had... he did have 2 major stuff ups where as the majority of the others just slowed the game down heaps for australia.... (hehe but the guy who gave 3 yellow cards was fired from refereeing major games by FIFA lol) but yeh FOFA are to be put at blame for the poor quality of ref's

Italy won from Germany, with 2-0 in the spare time.
And again at the last minut from the first half of the spare part kind a thing.
and a few seconds after that the score the second won.

The last two minutes of overtime on the Italy - Germany match made watching the entire thing worth it - Italy deserved to win, and I think that Germany showed up some pretty horrible sportsmanship during this match.

I was pretty shocked to see that one, but I still think that France deserved to win. Anyways, it was a pretty fun and entertaining match, and it was pretty fair play for the most part.
My guess is that some Italian provoced Zidane, and he got hit s**t pretty damn ruined. Nice to see a soccer player who's got some balls, instead of the sissy Beckham-likes. Zidane and Cantona kicks FunnyBunnyFunnyBunnyFunnyBunny ;)

if he didn't decide to go for the headbutt and take a red card, there's a good chance the shootout would have been 5 all and it would have kept going. The guy that missed was his 'sub' when it comes to shootouts :-/

What was messed up was that they showed Boston, which was weird. I mean, what does Italy have to do with Boston?

It was regional, you live in Boston, so they showed Boston. I live in Miami, and they showed Miami. They had like this one street of bars and stuff, and the Italy fans were on one side, while the French were on the other. I just wanted to be the guy on the wrong side of the street, heheh.

It was a finale that will go to history, thats for sure! The french was the winners in ball playing, but it´s the end result that counts..
I liked the multi racial, multi ethnical and multi religious french team. And no i dont think Zidane should have attacked him, but at the same time..i wouldnt want him to take poop from a young trashtalking fool either in his last game. I´m sure he regrets it though. And that David Trezegue missed his penalty, doesnt matter, for all i know Zidane himself could of missed it..it´s common the starplayers miss in penalties. Football is never on the paper, "what could of been" etc etc..and thats why it´s so great, anything can happen.
But Zidanes rep will not be harmed by this, here in Europe he is huge and will be rememberd as one of the greatest.

:)I know, it was a really entertaining match, and France did an excellent job on the 2nd half. I think that France deserved to win, and regarding what Materazzi said, rumor is that he called Zidane a terrorist/some other racial slur, called his mother a *****, etc. No matter what's true, I'm pretty sure that whatever he said must've been pretty damn bad, and he deserved to get his sh*t ruined. Zidane was still awarded the Golden ball (or something) for being the best player of this WC. The votes were cast before the final was played, but he still won. And I think he deserved it.
