Indigo Prophecy is a very good single player game, I recommend that for single player experience and for multiplayer I recommend either um, lol there are alot of em out there, liek BF2, CS S, CS 1.6, F.E.A.R., etc

Monkey Island 1, 2 & 3!

Indiana Jones & The Fate of Atlantis!
Day of The Tentacle!
Sam & Max Hits The Road!

Whacky-old-skool-FPS-killer-extreme!
Doom II
Quake
Rise of The Triad
Duke Nukem 3D

Too oldskool, perhaps? Ehm, which games have you been playing recently, and what genre are you looking for?

You, sir, have extremely refined tastes.

May I also suggest some old Sierra adventure games:
King's Quest series, Hero's Quest (aka Quest for Glory), Space Quest series, Willy Beamish (if you can get your hands on it), Conquest of Longbow, Conquest of Camelot.

<3 Old Skool <3

And for newer stuff...
You can't go wrong with Blizz games... Diablo II, Warcraft III, Starcraft...

And then there's the newer FPS games; Far Cry, Half Life 2, FEAR, UT2k4, Doom 3, CoD2, Serious Sam II

Or strat games (other than blizz): Age of Empires 3, Black and White 2, Civilization 4

And of course, one of my favorites... The Sims. Well, Sims 2... they have all those fun expansions out.

Me and a buddy used to link that game using null modem (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Null_modem) link. We played Capture The Triad (or whatever it was called, a lot of spinning triads, and whoever shot the most won) untill my buddy's 486 crashed - for each triad you destroyed, two (or more) new ones spawned. This resulted in heavy lags and complete failure on some systems, if you had played long enough. ;)

Yeah, loads of fun with that one. Also, Quake co-op is teh sh*t.

Quake Co-op ftw! Quake 2 i used to have fun with, played it in class to piss off my computer teacher, and when he asked me questions i'd be playing and answereing him accurately. the good ol days.

I'd go with Ghost Recon: Island Thunder. Many a nights I wasted on that game, none of which I regret.

I feel like such a noob. I've played Halo 2 mostly. I've also played Fable, Star Wars Battlefront, played a lot of stuff on the PS and PS2. I also played Mario Party 5 on the gamecube. I would've played that more than halo if the gamecube hadn't disappeared. That upset me.

command & conquer was a great series, it got me into RTS titles in general. There's supposed to be a new one coming out, i'm looking forward to that.

If you want old school FPS titles, I know of Heretic, Hexen, Shadow Warrior, Quake...
Wolfenstein 3D was really the first FPS title, although Doom was the more popular one that helped the genre take off. Try Wolfenstein 3D if you really want to go old skool.

super mario bros 1 for the original NES FTW. you never beat it cause once you kill koupa you just start all over with everything harder and just keep on going. but i personaly like Counter strike source but am trying to get into 1.6 and mapplestory is a really cute mmorpg in like the sonic style. its a side scroller and i go for that after a hard day of getting owned on cs
