Anyone from Colorado?

I'm taking a trip to Colorado in about a week. It will be my first time there and I'm looking for some cool things to see and do. I already have a few things in mind, but I'd love to hear some more ideas! :D

live in colorado! What part are you going to be in. I am in Colorado springs and there is a ton of crap to do here. We have Garden of the Gods, 7 Falls, Cave of Winds, Lots of pretty things you can hike up to. Plus the Zoo is cool. THe location is kick ass! Its like on the side of the rockymountains. Anywho hope that helps. Hit me up if ya need a tourguide lol

I know denver has a zoo and sixflags. If you were looking more nature stuff to do i sould suggest colo springs. The 7 falls is freaking awesome. Garden of the gods is more of a get out and walk to see the cool rocks type of place. I hope you have fun!

LOL me too... Anyways, Colo Spggs(as it is on the signs) is only an hour's drive from Denver, so you could easily go do all the things she mentioned. If you don't want to do those things, you may want to go to the top of Pike's Peak. An AMAZING view, and very cool place to get some scenery shots on the way up, as well as take some cool pics for myspace, lol. How long do you plan on staying in Denver?

EDIT: If you're not willing to drive to up to the top of Pike's Peak, there is a train that goes to the top, year round I think.

So seven days... I suggest you go to the top of Pike's Peak. Other than that and what Shortcake said, I can't think of anything else to do. Maybe you could go to Breckenridge. They have some good stores there. Believe me, I've been there for hours shopping with my girlfriend and familly. Also, if you're a fan of South Park, you could visit the town it's based off of on the way to Breckenridge(pretty small place).

I read a bit about driving up to Pike's Peak. Isn't there a toll road or something that you have to pay to drive up?

Yeah, you do have to pay a toll, but its not much I don't think. Maybe 25 dollars. Also, your brakes must be good to go up, because you use them a bit on the way down...

Stalker? lol, don't worry I don't anywhere near you. I should have said Fort Carson instead of Colorado Springs.

Yeah, there isn't much air up there but I think it's worth the headache. Bring lots of water and get some food at the gift shop once you get up there!
