Hello people of the PMS forums. As you may or not know, my friend DemonGurl is trying to go to MLG Chicago. She has saved up $900 dollars, she needs roughly $500 dollars more. I'm not saying this to get money or anything, it's cause I see a person who genuinely deserves to go, who has practiced very hard to be as good as she is, and I also see someone who needs a miracle in order to go. The reason she needs so much is because she lives in Hawaii, and it's not exactly cheap to get a plane ticket to chicago from Hawaii.

i talked to demongurl last night about it i told her if i get my bonus by the beginning of next week ill give it all to her and i asure u its a good amount lol. I dont want her to get her hopes us since if i dont get the bonus i can lend her much since medical bills for passing out at work lol.

I just hope she can find away to get this money so she can go she really deserves it.

u can use paypal or ur bank. For example by bank, wellsfargo, allows me to send check/money to whoever I want.

I wish I could do what you all can but I can't, I'm fifteen and money is hard to come by,. I'm gonna try and help however I can though.

Anything helps if you can donate. If there was another way to do this other than ask for money on the forums I would but there has to be some kind of miracle in order to succeed.

Unfortunately, I don't know the story, and I'd feel awkward donating without knowing why she "deserves it so much" as you all say.

I realize you're uncomfortable with donating money so that a stranger gets to go to an MLG, but for Demon this will more than likely be a one in a lifetime experience, due to her situation. paypal is a no go, I guess we've got to trust in the US postal system. I don't think they'd be that unreliable.

And I'll just make a list on why she deserves it, so you know.

1. She's a devoted clan member
2. She's raised $900 by herself.
3. This is the only time she'll get to go to an MLG.
4. She's had no help from her parents
5. It'll be the only time she's allowed some freedom away from Hawaii, a chance to go hang out with friends, and most importantly, to compete.
6. I think she's the greatest person in the world.
7. She didn't ask for donations, I did. Cause I saw that this was the only way possible.

If you still want to donate, send me a PM. I'll send you my address, you'll send it my way, I'll collect all the donations, and I'll send them to Demon when I all we need is in.

I haven't recieved any donations as most people have opted to donate just today. I have been told that, due to the extremely generous donations, we should have $650. I would say more but I haven't spoke to a few people who said they would. I'm trying to add $50 dollars myself, so we should hit the $700 mark soon, which (I've just learned) is $100 from the goal. I have a few people who are seeing what they can do though, so if all goes well then this donation effort will have been a success and Demon can go to Chicago.

okay, recent events have breathed life into this situation.

plane ticket prices have gone down slightly, and someone has decided to add onto their already substantial donation (this kid is Father Teresa, and his post is just above mine), to cover the loss of one person who couldn't afford the donation. I said they came down, but they went up a lot before hand, so now the goal is $250, possibly 200.

MLG is July 21st. My parents are booking soon, but only if I get the money or proof of it coming. They'll use a credit card and the money in the mail will pay for the $2000 or so needed for my trip. from what i was told by alena, as long as her mom knows that she'll be recieving the money, she can go. unless i understood her wrong.

and asking for the money, i dont get how that is a felony. its just like going to your mom and asking her for cash. and i've been sent money in the mail before.
