Capture Card

I was wondering if anyone here owns a capture card? If you do, I am just wondering what kind you would recommend after using yours... My Xbox 360 is in 1080i, can a capture card capture resolution that high? Or would I have to buy a special one?

well i dunno about wat u lot have but i have a DAZZLE DVC 170 (platinum) and it works well, unfortunately im having sum troubles with the pinnacle studios but aprt from that its good

Where does it record the media? I don't want it to record it to a DVD Disc, I would prefer to just plug the capture card into my computer, and upload it... like a USB stick... Anyone know of anything like that?

it records it to your HDD on you pc or laptop.

dude i bought a recording thing a while ago that I had ALOT of trouble with. 1 is that when ever I would start recording It would get really laggy. 2 is that the video files that I recorded werent compatible with the widows editing program so I couldnt edit it so if someone can give me some other cards that I could use that wil work with me.

i use the dazzle 80 by pinnacle i got it around GR2 days about 4+yrs ago...its only in SD and svideo.....but it does ok...if u want HD its gonna cost yeh around 170-200 bucks...

i've heard nothing but good things about an osprey card. i'll ask the guys at erev
