Paintball owns! I love it so fun, thinking about going to play some rec ball next weekend. My bro in law plays on a team here in San Antonio. And is being guided by Team X-Factor. I get to go out and coach em too and stuff. I'm just not into hardcore tourney's like him. Tho i do go and practice with his team :)

I play woodsball every once and awhile. The friends I play with and I all have cheap-ish guns (around $100). Some of my other friends are sponsored locally and have like $1000 guns. It's ridiculous. It's a real rush playing though.

I play paintball, I got a Spyder Rodeo marker but the barrel is crap at long ranges so I have to get a replace ment for it, its nice though having a double trigger.

I used to be a marshall at my local paintball site, gave it up though as i value having my testicles still intact, you'd be suprised how many people use the referees as rangefinders.

If you guys are into the whole realism aspect you should try out Airsoft, its pretty similar but you use replica weapons, so all the weapons you use in COD4 you could use in Airsoft :P

To be honest, i really love Airsoft because of the games ive been to.

I mean, you go to a paintball day, you get a gun (mine was gold, lovely thing) you get a mask and you go shoot your mates for the day. Airsoft is entirely different. I recently attended a weekend event up at Catterick training ground and spent all of saturday (and night) and sunday morning moving around as a team, taking sniper shots at targets (was squad sniper for a while) and then to top it all off, i fell out the back of a land rover during a target raid :P

Aye, hurt like a *****, grazed all my back, ripped some of my kit to shreds (combat vest was totally messed up) and smashed my M4 on the floor denting the flash hider inwards. Apart from that it was the most fun ive had in years, not to mention the bit when we used the TANK (yes, TANK!" as a battering ram.

If you havent played Airsoft like that, you have to, its one of the best experiences you'll have. and the most fun youll ever have, which is the important part.

one of my squad members on theweekend game brought this six barrelled rotating grenade launcher, i **** you not it was huge, and so the first building we come to he says hes going to go point, so he runs in screaming his head off, scares the crap out of this bloke whos in there and spends the next two minutes chasing this guy around this house, trying to shoot him with this bloody huge grenade launcher.

My friend's T9 was pushing 390 out of the box (it is a paintball gun), and the shots from it would go through 4 layers (1/2 inch each) of Styrofoam, and a couple of layers of cardboard. I put it down to 270 before testing it on a human (or any animal, on that note..). I don't fancy whoever takes a 390 shot from a paintball to bare skin.

500 doesnt hurt that much, its the shock of it more than anything, i mean, i remember this one time and i must have been staring down the sights of my rifle for about half an hour, not moving an inch, and i got shot from my left, nearly crapped myself, i jumped a bloody mile, but sure, it hurts a little bit, but thats why my CQB kit consists of helmet and ceramic plates in my vest :P

Yeah just try to avoid ppl using nitrous lol. Paintball, a great and fun sport. Yet an expensive one. That is why I fancy Airsoft its nice inexpensive for equipment guns dont require much maintenance and the guns are based on real guns lol.

I've gone paintballing once, And I loved it. Im now saving.. well not yet.. after I ge t 360.. am saving up for Paintball equipment.. But i got a good paintball story..

It was i think you would call it woodsball aye? Well it was an insane layout for it.. It was in a tree'd area.. but there was still some areas where bunkers were made out of wood and some tires.. But this was crazy.. there was a mad incline all the way up, one team started at the top, the other at the bottem. THe incline was insane.. like if your going down the hill, you need to go slowly or else you wouldve tumbled.. and if your going out, you had to lean real far into the hill so you didnt tumble backwards. But as I said. i was at the top, and i smartly laid down in this tall grass, and had only the barrel of my extremly crappy rental gun sticking out.. I was dman near invisible. Well, the first guy who came p that I saw ws the guy with the Fulll Auto gun.. Yeah.. I shot about ten times.. missed every single one.. he spotted where i was.. unloaded right into me.. hit my face mask 5 times.. the top of my head twice.. and each of my shoulders twice. Each, I stood up.. and was like.. "Ouch." and almost fell over the cliff i was on.. wouldnt of been far.. where i was was a sheer drop off of about 2 meters, so wouldnt of really hurt..

But even though it hurts.. ithink thats what Im atracted to in it.. just the Sdrenaline rush of it all.. Haha, Im hopeing to have full equipment set in about 3 months.. intime for when me and my friends are gonnabe going paintballing..

As for Airsoft.. Ive only played with the crappy ones bought at walmart (like pistols) that are like 80 bucks each.

I played pro ball for a long time. Ive been to world cup twice, once in orlando, and the second time in aruba. I played with X-Factor, Team Catalyst (some of the old guys from russian legion), Naughty Dogs, and the Misfits, when i played with Team Catalyst and Naughty dogs was back when tourneys were speedball, and when i played with Misfits and X-Factor world cup was now xball. I went to Cup with Team Catalyst, and X-Factor tho. I got tons of pics and magazine shots and articles if anyone is interested

tip to all is get good and get sponsored if you really wanna get serious. I dropped about 15 grand in guns alone before i got sponsored. When i got sponsored my teams would drop 550 in paint in a day.

I'd love to play more than I do. I haven't played in two years. First time I went was a work trip. One game I was matched up against my nemsis, regional safety supervisor. He was the one that organized the trip. I saw him down range and started slinging a rope at him. Sailed three or four over his head before I finally dialed in on that bald spot.

I have some of my own gear, Spyder Xtra marker and I forget the mask maker. The mask is nice, fits over my glasses perfectly.

I don't think it hurts at all. Then again, none of my tattoos hurt, either. It really depends on range & velocity. I mean, if you get caught with a glancer from 50 or 60 feet, it'll hurt a lot less than if you get bunkered by somebody with a real hot marker.

i'm a paint ball reff up at Skirmish usa in eastern PS, i play regularly, and i love working there, we hold torny games and scenario games. i like playing when i'm not reffing, usually go up on off days or during the week, and 3-4 of us will slip into a walk on group. and use our guns. i've got a Proto matrix rail, I'm ganna trade a buddy of mine for his Auto cocker. mainly play woods ball, but i like speed ball better. scenario games are only good for mid work naps. heres the link to where i work. http://www.skirmish.com/ we actually have a record in Guinness book world records for the largest paint ball scenario game at a head count of over 4,000 people.

blackwater, those fps limits suck.......when i used to play the sniper role with my CA M24 I was hitting 625fps with .2

about 570 with .28

Now I use a Systema PTW (broken once again) and a Marushuin M500 8mm shotgun

Yeah I know. I have a pretty good Paintball gun. A Piranha R6 but the air and paintballs are way too expensive. That's why I transferred to airsoft :D
