I mean this in no derogatory manner, ladies, it's an honest question. Admittedly, guys are the same to you sometimes, I'm sure, however this is my issue...

Admittedtly, I think I'm a pretty nice guy, at least I like to think so. I try to do my best to be there for my friends, and to do what I can to give fair and unbiased advice to friends.

Why is it that I keep getting the FunnyBunnyFunnyBunnyFunnyBunnyFunnyBunny end of things? What am I doing wrong? This is in no way a pity party, so don't take it that way, I'm just curious why it seems like all of the girls I like go for dickheads, and come to me crying about how they wish they could find a nice guy...

... and then when I find a girl, I end up getting the one that's going to FunnyBunnyFunnyBunnyFunnyBunnyFunnyBunny me over because I'm too nice.

Why?

In all honesty I understand where you are coming from.
I myself am a very confusing person.
I think it's because girls seem to try and focus on what they want from moment to moment and don't think about things before we do it.
Like we go for the first guy that is there that we are really interested in and dive right in without realizing that there may be a better guy somewhere.
I don't know that is my best guess.

A lot of girls confuse confidence with ego. Girls like confidence but don't differentiate between a confident guy and a jackass.

Also a lot of girls convince themselves "i'm the girl who can change him" and typically they are wrong.

I guess what you guys are saying makes sense, it just feels like I'm doing something wrong. Within the last few days some really effed up things have happened in my personal life, and I'm just reeling because I can't figure out what I've done to cause this.

You know, it's funny in a way. How it all works out, heh. The thing I want most in life ends up being the thing that hurts me the worst.

I agree with what devolution was saying. I always seem to mistake a jack*** for someone confident and good. It gets me every time... I think its just that the jerks are the ones that always say what's on their mind, and most girls like that. grr...i don't even understand myself half the time though, so don't feel bad if youre not able to understand girls. we don't know what we're doing either, lol

Well dude, you can't change how people are, you know. Some girls are just the type that go for the bad guy and some who are blind. When they clear the veil in front of their eyes they'll see you, just give it time. Just go with the flow, and if something happens to stop the flow, do your best to get it going again.
