it's the forbidden word that no one must use, but is used quite often. It's in the last sentence of the second paragraph in that article.

The "R" word is grape minus the "g"
The word is not allowed to be used on these forums and if you feel like you want to use it for whatever reason, just say "grape." I believe Twin came up with that word, and people around the community will understand what you mean if you use "grape."

Social commentary. The article was written to give people who aren't familiar with the scene an idea of what it's about. If someone wrote one about the shooter community it would be pretty hard to not mention that the minority were white and lived in the suburbs.:\

Yes, certianly true Kasumi. One of the great things about DOA is it is helping to diversify PRO gaming in a way a shooter or PC game could never do!! :)
