I've seen this. It made me cry alot. at the time I had 10 friends in Iraq....only 8 came are still alive and so far 3 came home. A few aren't back in Texas. Some are in Virginia. Another got promoted and is in Hawaii last I heard.

It's really hard. Honest to god most all my friends who went played games such as Battlefield with me and sometimes I wonder if all of them would have left if that game wasn't around. It's the only time I ever hated being a gamer when you get the news - that they died.

I was going to join up even, but my Bi-polar and Asthma stopped all of that.
I suppose thats a good thing. I never would have had the wonderful life I've had this last year and met my boyfriend if I was off in Iraq.

"please come back home"

When my husband was deployed it seemed like this song played everyday every hour. I cried everytime I heard it and still cry even though he has been back for a month

A buddy of mine just came back to Ft. Drum with a Purple Heart. I think he's in Bravo Company, 4-31 Infantry (I could be wrong, it's like asking you what AMXS stands for). I've got another friend that just got to Drum thats in 2d Brigade, although I'm not sure exactly where.

Couple of others: Another friend is a Combat Engineer thats going to Ft. Hood in January (he just got his commission, currently in BOLC), Another is based at Bliss as a Linebacker Driver, and I have 2 going into Air Assault within the next year.

Yeah he was shot in the thigh crossing a canal about a month and a half ago. He just got back to Drum about two weeks ago after being on Convo Leave down in North Carolina. If you know Ted Crume, that's the guy.
