I am having difficulty connecting to xbox live and I've reached the point where I'll try almost anything.
I have an Ethernet line running directly from my 360 to a router. Everything else is working through the router (sort of). The wireless desktops can connect, the direct line desktop can connect, only the wired and wireless laptops can't. But it hasn't been a problem before.
When I run the "test connection" option on my 360, it recognizes the network, but says it fails on the IP address stage. However, when I go into "edit settings" it finds an IP address. I have been unable to connect for about 2 days and no indication of what exactly is wrong.
I've moved the wires around and anything else I've been able to think of. Anyone have any suggestions?
