Ok, Im totally psyched about this... Im an avid "graphic novel' reader, avid Halo fan and ex-avid Halo player. Is anybody else as psyched as I am?

For more info on this check this (http://comics.ign.com/objects/818/818453.html) out

That's pretty neat :) I might go and get it to read, but I already have the 3 Halo books so, I already know some of the secrets ;) :D Thanks for the info!

I only read 1 of the books, and I enjoyed it overall... maybe I should read the other two? When it comes to something as awesome as the Halo universe, can you have too much info though?

Sorry for the spam, but which did you read? I've read all three and the first and last were probably my favorites. But the middle one is great just because it explains all that stuff in between that the game doesn't, and fills in a number of gaps (game as in Halo1) :)

The graphic novel is only loosely based on the Halo novels, and only in one of the four stories. I've read all three as well (preferred First Strike, I liked the Alamo reference towards the end).

There are four stories in the Halo graphic, all outlined in the latest OXM. They've even got some shots of the comic. Here are the stories and backrounds, and who they're done by.

"The Last Voyage of the Infinite Succor" by Lee Hammock and Simon Bisley. A story about the danger of the flood through the eyes of a Covenant Elite and his squad.

"Armor Testing" by Jay Faerber, Ed Lee, and Andrew Robinson a look at how the Master Chief's MJOLNIR armor gets certified for battle before he gets it. (Halo-paperback fans will supposedly recognize the story's hero).

"Breaking Quarantine" by Tsutomu Nihei is a heavily stylized take on Seargent Johnson's escape from the Flood on Installation 04 (a.k.a. the first Halo).

and finally "Second Sunrise Over New Mombasa" by Brett Lewis and Moebius is a look at how Earth's citizens are coping with the war back on Earth.

In addition, apart from the stories themselves, there are 27 pages in an Artist's gallery, which contains a couple dozen "freeform interpretations of the Halo-verse, and they're so good, you'll wish you could get some of them in poster-sized format."

I read The Flood in a day when I was sick. It was before I got XBL, and I need my Halo fix :D. I think I will finish the trilogy now though... as soon as I find it at my local library, or find a couple of bucks to buy it.... hopfully the latter, I need to keep up my collection of Halo "stuff".

Yeah, I've been waiting for awhile for this to come out. I'm really excited!

Tsutomu Nihei , the author/illustrator who wrote the manga series: "BLAME!" has a section within the graphic novel...so you know it's going to be awesome! :D

I've read only two out of the three books, and I'm currently working on the third now...

I've only seen the previewof the graphic novel from my local comic store. It kinda confused me because there was 3 pages for each if that so you just got to see the illistration. The 1 page funny at the back was cool though.
