Not bad stuff Dekine. I won't use cause I already got my own style and all, but they have some nice tips in them and can help beginners a lot :)

I probably will, but not now because I'm only here to check up on things and see who posted while I was gone. I'm so addicted to these forums. lol

... I refuse to show my trial at combineing a few of the tutorials...
It ashames me. Not only does it stray way to far from the tut- it sucks anyway.

a C4D is a Cinema 4D render... which is actually a 3D render, abstract like most of the time. Nice work Dekine.

wow I'm glad all my efforts weren't put to waste in making these tutorials.
A c4d is like col.death said, its an abstract render.
Here is an example:
http://click2host.us/003/962341.png
most are the render with a black background. After you add the render, if you set the layer to either: Lighten, Screen, Color Dodge, or Linear Dodge. The black backround is seen as transperant.
If anyone would like to ask any questions pertaining to the tutorials just ask.

tutorials aren't meant for you to take on the makers style (b/c that is def not what I want) they are meant for you to learn new tricks and especially for most of the people viewing, they are meant for you to learn what the tools of photoshop are and how they work. Believe me I didn't spend the 3-4 days it took to make this just so all of you could have a duplicate style of me.
are those tuts for photoshop CS2??

they look great, i'll probably be giving them a try later.
I've found that tutorials are the best way to pick up new tricks. Its really hard to duplicate someone elses style...most tutorials arent quite detailed enough for that. But by doing tutorials I've found ways to add those techniques to my own style and method.

yes they were made using cs2, but they can be used for most versions of Phototshop.

I love you. lol. you are one of only a few that understands the reason for a tutorial.
I would love to see an outcome or four.
