I'll be there. I dont really know you, you dont know me, but I planned on watching fireworks, too.
If someone can find me a free airplane ticket, hotel room, and a damn good excuse to take off of work for a few days i'll be there :p
Then again I'm not sure I could deal with nok anyway ;)
Have a blast and if you have your laptop and go wardriving during the fireworks bug me hehe.

we'll probably be there...thinking about renting a boat, but i dont know about all the drunkards out on the lake for the 4th

I'll be trying to do just about everything there, whether I'm with the PC Group (probably takes priority for me), meeting people from the other divisions, or even alone.
Watch Fireworks
Swim.. Aka: Float in the water, and label it "swimming".
Poker.. I'm not bringing a poker set, but I'm up for playing.. Signed up for the Fun Event, too.
Bowling, Movies, Shooting Pool, Eating, Shopping if groups end up going.
I dont know.. I'm not going to ask people to go places, or come up with a schedule. But I'm all for hanging out with whoever does whatever, BYOC a little, Spectate a little, cheer a little, and have fun.

dude... tonight they were talking about NOT going to fireworks. I almost cried.. like I really wanna!! 2 of the girls would rather party.. but i'm kinda underage.. and like fireworks on the 4th!!
So.. we need a lot of people to WANT to go..

What time do fireworks usually start on the 4th of July..? Not a midnight thing, if I remember right.. somewhere between 8pm and 10pm.. No idea.
I'll definately be there, sitting, staring at bright lights explode in the sky. If you guys are in Grapevine tomorrow, call me, Jumper.. If not, I'll hopefully recognise you, Feday, at the lake or something, and I'll say hi.
Leaving home in.. less than 5 hours.. Arriving at the DFW Airport at 4pm.. Arrgh, its so close, I can't wait. Hopefully I dont have a heart attack at the terminal or something.

the fireworks usually begin about 9:30
but they're popular so you have to get to the lake early if you want a place to sit or w/e.

Have fun ya'll, I'm gonna be sitting on my boat in the middle of the bay in Miami, watching everyone's fireworks.
No idea what I'm doing tonight.. but like there has been a burn ban for a while.. though it did rain a few days ago.. and since I'm not in the city limits I can pretty much pop them wherever I want.. though anyone living in San Antonio city limits has to deal with lame "fire-work safe area thingys".. but if you manage to find a good watch point to see what Sea World and Fiesta Texas is throwin down then it can't be too bad. Even I can see what Sea World is doin from my house
Hmm I just realized this was a CPL thingy.. oh well :p I'm not there obviously..

Me, my dad, and Meow are sitting in the room (2042), hanging out. Just watched the United States burn 5 billion dollars worth of fireworks.
I might go walking around, see the rest of the venue. Rawr.

yeah so. apparantly they cancelled our room for tonight, so we aren't at the resort. It pretty much sucks.. but oh well. lol.
So I'm chilling at midol's again tonight..
We missed fireworks =((
is that what happened? I'm sorry i couldn't really talk much on the phone cause i was at work :-(
Hope all is well and the hotel gets its act together.
