Is anyone getting it? I managed to buy it as it was in stock in the UK online and should be arrive hopefully by today or tomorrow.

i would be buying halo 2 for pc but right now my computer is a complete piece of shat lol and can barely run CS source. please any suggestions to make my computer really good

Firstly my copy just arrived seems it was the only one on ebay in the UK so *could* be one of the very few to be online on the PC with it lol.
In regards to your PC situation whats the specs of your system?
CPU
Ram
Hard drive
Operating system
Right click My Computer icon and go to properties it should tell you how much ram you have and your CPU along with the speed.
double click my computer and click on on the hard drive normally its C:\ and should show how much space it has on the left side of the screen if not right click and go to properties should show a pie chart with the amount you have left.

Well been playing it and looks pretty good, polygon count is still low as HALO 2 on the Xbox in terms of character modelling but it seems to have gotten some graphical upgrades. Runs very well on my setup although it feels a slight bit sluggish only slight - tried keyboard mouse and no it doesnt work well at all playing halo 2. Setup my 360 pad and WOOT! back in action! Also got some acheivemants! Check out my gamertag :-D

the game seems nice but i'm inclined to get shadowrun compared to this since its a little more new :P

eh, I've tried Shadowrun, I don't really like it, not sure why. as for halo 2 for pc, I kinda want it but i cant justify the cost and annoyance of vista just for halo 2

do they have a trial somewhere. i have vista on my laptop. i dont know if it will run on it though

I didn't like Halo for the PC, and I doubt that I would like Halo 2. Halo excells as a console-FPS, but I really feel like it will fall short compared to PC-counterparts such as Half-Life 2.
And I don't really like how Microsoft are trying to push Windows Vista by making an "ok at best"-game a Vista exclusive.

Won't be getting it, since I do not have Vista, and the fact that they would do something like this makes me never want to buy vista. They used such a well known title to their advantage, and to make gamers get vista. Uck vista...blah..
Whats this halo 2 PC nonsense, you should all be playing halo PC, the old skool one.

idk halo on PC is just not the same to me.. and I'm with Slaughter. I'm not a huge fan of Vista. My mom has it on her new laptop and trying to figure out how to use the thing is a pain in the ass. I won't be getting Vista on my PC until my school has it.. they'll have it for roughly $10.. sooo yeah. Besides I will need my comp to be compatible with my school so I can transfer projects back and forth..
Of course its not the same, but i'll teach you how to be really really really good at it.

btw jumper if u dont want vista. dont buy a new comp because microsoft is gonna start forcing companys to put vista on their computers even if u ask for xp
