Hiya everyone,
If you have had trouble with your wireless headset for the 360, and it doesnt stay connected to controler 1????
The fault is actually with the controler as every time i turned my controler on after my headset it configures itself to controler 2 not 1!!!!
This is because the connection for the wired headset is broken and permanently thinks that there is already a wired headset there!!!!
I hope this helps, i traded in my old controler and put the money towards a new one and i wont use a wired headset on it either.Any other problems try looking on www.xbox.com (http://www.xbox.com) !!!!
Luv to all.... :mvpmsh2o:

Yeah, I had trouble with mine cutting out in the middle of speach... It got annoying, So I went and bought the NFL 360 Edition Head Set.

I will never buy another headset! THIS IS MY FINAL ONE AND ITS THE BEST EVER.!!! Period.
Plus you can detach it from the controller peice and plug it into a phone... or your computer (if you have an adapter to go bigger on the size)
But its perfect. Comfortable, and the Sound quality (mic and earpeice) is UNMATCHED !!!
And it can be had at best buy for $25.00

hey serenity,
are the wireless ones rely worth the money, cus i'm constantly breaking the wired ones. ive just broken my 5th since i got my xbox last feb. but i dunno whether to spend the extra cash getting the wireless if they're just gonna break as easily.

Firstly to the OP incorrect I faced the same issue but its all about setting it up correctly nothing to do with the wired headset.
The wireless headset has its own problems, makes noise sometimes, disconnects then reconnects, unless you speak loud no one can hear you unlike the wired one which is closer to the mouth.
I say wired headset all the way.

How on earth are you able to break soo many headsets?
I NEVER broke the original Xbox headset and had that for 3yrs!!!
Never even broke the 360 one either! Went through a few due to crackling noise thats about it.

i dunno how i break em. i often have mates round and the controller being wireless got thrown across to each other, headset attatched, when i had the first 3. i think it must be stretchin the cables or something. the main thing is my first one lasted about 8 months, then the rest just lasted a few months each. i tried taking care of the last two, but they just keep breaking and i dont know why!!

Perhaps being more careful is a better option, I am heavy handed but I have never been able to break a headset.
