It has finally arrived, the first official DoD:s lan event. After much anticipation for a lan the community is finally going to get what they have been yearning for. A chance to prove yourself plus a chance to win money and great prizes while your at it. The event is taking place in Austin Texas at Tek Republik lan center. The owner Chris Tom has done many lan events in the past all of which have been a huge success. To help Chris run the tournament we have Ben Puig, Sean Kalas, Alex Kirk, Chris Towle, Chad, Shaun. Maps will soon be selected and, as always, your input is both valued and necessary. A vote will be take place as soon as all the teams are registered. The vote will be at the Trypants website.

Fees:
$50 / per person (Pre-Pay)
$60 / per person (At Door)
$30 / per person for byoc pass

Miscellaneous:

There will be a byoc section. You may use your computers to scrim during the down times, when you have no matches going on. You will have limited access to the interenet. This is a reminder that the computers to be used for the tournament are lan center computers only. No excuses allowed !

There will also be a 16 team limit for the tournament. This does not mean you cant come and spectate but it does mean you will not be able to compete in the Competition. How many people on top of the 16 teams (96 people) that are going to be allowed to spectate and bring comps is still being determined.

Issues such as whether there will be HLTV, Ventrilo, and questions regarding configs and the official GUI, will all be settled in the coming months, so refer to Trypants or gotfrag for updates

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

*Prizes are based upon 16 teams participating in this event and also the how many people show up to spectate. Actual prize distribution, event date, time, and venue are subject to change without prior notice.

*Information pulled from Gotfrag!*

I will be attending this event. I am not sure what team I am playing on as of yet. (I was suppose to be the 6th for the Totally Cool Boys.) Hopefully enough of them are still going. (I <3 those guys!) If there is enough interest from some of the PMS ladies let me know. We can start a team to compete in it. (I am confirmed to go to this! 100% so even if people just show up to represent from the clan please feel free to do so!) I will be driving to this event!
